As the 3rd horseman, I must say you're really borderline. i'm really not sure whether to let you in or not. I shall pass counsel to the other 3 horsemen, I'm really torn on this. On one hand, you have a lot of good metal bands, but on the other, you have false positive (metal bands whos fanbase consists of mallkiddies) bands, and unmetal bands, and seem to have a rather fuzzy idea about what is metal and what's not.

Hmmm... If it helps, I jus' added Primus cuz' I ran out of ideas, and Cradle Of Filth is my least favorite band on the list. (But I'm not gonna deny that I like them.)

Actually Alice in Chains are metal, just look it up on the Metal Archives. (Well you can't now since they're down again, as usual). They're definitely heavier than most grunge bands.
Also, I say that guy's in, he has a pretty decent list.

Archives aren't always trustable, and I'm a AiC fan. I honestly don't see them as being very metal.

When I say EARLY I mean there first few albums. After awhile they turned to shit. Just like Slayer and the now puss-a-fied Iron Maiden. I know I'm gonna be stabbed for saying that, but Dance Of Death was where I lost faith in Maiden. Their new album doesn't give them much justice, either...
