I've been forced in there by an ex girlfriend a couple times. They cover a whole wall with t-shirts yet somehow don't have any bands on it that I like other than Iron Maiden. Probably about 50+ shirts on the wall and theres only one truly metal band on the entire wall? Thats pretty fucking sad.

@Atomik sounds like my local HMV they used to have about 5 containers with 3 shelves in and about a meter(ish) wide for metal now they have two and its mostly stuff like linkin Park and limp bizkit or my chemical romance which is in their and its just retarded so i turn to the internet and amazon/play.com for all my music purchases as its impossible to get anything i want at a decent (non extortionate) price in any shops near me :(
also Goat i downloaded that track wicked stuff kinda reminds of me of Filosofem in terms of a black metal ambient mix good job :D its nice to see how Shores has developed :)

the best music store I ever went to was in Toronto. Huge-ass store. The ground floor was all pop and hit music, but the 2nd floor is pure metal. Some bald, aggressive looking metalhead was running the place there, blasting Deicide from the store speakers. He put all metalcore in the 'punk' section and had every band I could possibly think of. Also lots of rare vinyl shit. He said even some guy from Emperor shops there.

On a somewhat related note, I just found out a friend of my just dropped out of her band and they've (ironically) really hit it big. I'm very tempted to see if she's willing to join Black Anarchist, because we really need a live guitarist. I can do the job on record, but we don't have a bassist and I can't do double-duty on-stage.
