Well I do listen to some bands more than others obviously, I do listen to all of those bands a good amount, but my favorite style of metal is probably melodic death metal, like Arch Enemy, Soilwork, In Flames, Kalmah, and Dark Tranquillity if you want a revised list

Well the guy's voice isn't as good as LaBrie's but it's up to par with my standards. I never said this would get you to stop listening to Dream Theater, but it's another good prog band.

I've got odd taste in film, because I can go from watching light comedies to dark and gory films without batting an eye. If I was to choose a preferred kind though, I must say I love Asian cinema, whether we're talking surreal as fuck (Visitor Q), ultraviolent (Ichi The Killer), or so benign that it hurts (Urusei Yatsura).
