Well, I just like Gorgoroth's sophomore stuff and such. I didn't totally mean they suck. It's just from musical perspective. Don't get me wrong, I've got most of their stuff. it just grew old on me. I was kind of in a pissy mood last night. So, that's my reason for sounding harsh.

Gorgoroth are more melodic and more musical than mayhem... Mayhem are way less serious and more fun than Gorgoroth, who are the real deal.

Under the Sign of Hell is a giant opus in musical terms. Listen to songs like Funeral Procession and Oggeledelse Og Undergang or Profetens Aapenbaring.

And I was in an awesome mood last night, I was drunk and incredibly baked.

Mayhem is more fun then most black metal bands. Immortal still are the best, well because they don't take themselves seriously at all. They have fun with it, which is important. Plus they fused thrash with black metal, making it awesome.

I like Gorgoroth cuz they make serious music out of it. I like Mayhem cuz they're really good at conjuring an atmosphere of malice, fear, and dread, even in their newer works.

Kvltness and gr1mness and br00tality don't really matter to me. It's more about how much fun or catchy or heavy the music is really.
