Twist The Knife (Slowly) is a really good song off of Fear, Emptiness, Despair. Though I seem to like Hung and Plague Rages more.

They're not bad.
And being a lyricist comes together with compositioning to create songwriting.

Sure, but the lyrics weren't that good to begin with. Too repetitive and cheesy. Just my opinion though.

True, but I love the cheese.

Not if you make instrumental music, like I do a lot.
and it's composing, not compositioning. And you can't understand most death metal bands' vocalists anywho, so it doesn't matter what they're saying.

Singing about bunny rabbits and rainbows?
Ha, now that would be funny.

This weekend, Aaron and I should finish a couple songs in our power metal project. It's beethoven-influenced power metal, i.e., it's dark, dramatic, and powerful, with deep bass singing.

Aaron, and I'm singing, though you haven't heard NEARLY my best singing.
Aaron is a keyboardist from hell. He plays really fast and really good. We make a good team. I'm great at building up tension in a song, and he's great at releasing it.

In other words, you're the foreplay and intercourse and he's the orgasm? Sounds sweet.

If you want to relate power metal to sex, then yeah.
