I read somewhere, that good funeral doom metal, is one where you can get to your fridge, open up a beer and sit back down before the second snare hits. I'm sure it's true. And I like The Funeral Orchestra, and Sunn O))), but Skepticism is one of my favorite funeral doom bands, EVAR!

Favorite bands are Iced Earth, Cannibal Corpse (Chris Barnes era mostly), Death, Blind Guardian, Obituary, Immolation, Black Sabbath, Dio, Venom, Mayhem, Deicide, God Dethroned, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica (old metallica only), Demons and Wizards, and many more. Listening to Iced Eath's "Night of The Stormrider" album, the original version with the original cover art. In a week or so, I'll be doing a vocal performance for Cannibal Corpse's "Starring Through The Eyes of The Dead" at my school's upcoming talent show. So far, I've been tolled that I've got the best death metal scream and growl in the whole school.

I want to have sex to that. Great stuff, something I can really get into. The intro is so calm and ambient and it dives right in to the heaviness. I wouldn't call it death metal though. More thrash metal. Experimental Thrash Metal is what it really is.
