Now, thats just bashing the members..... in terms of music, I dislike them cause Alexi's vocals and god awful. They're bland and not remotely listenable. The guitars are boring and really do nothing to stimulate my interest. Sure he's talented, but so are lots of people, and the a few of the others tend to be interesting too - Petrucci, Buckethead, etc.

1- Power Metal is great (dont go around pretending you more hardcore than me cause you listen to black metal or other heavy kind of stuff, power metal is just a bit more melodic and they arent posers, at least not all of them)
2- There is not lot of power metal in CoB, there is some influences of power metal, but its more speedy and blackish than power metal. (not black or speed metal... but surely not power metal)

Yes. At least other vocalists are coherant, Alexi sounds like he's literally got something stuck in his throat. If growls and harsh vocals are bad, then Alexi is the worst of the worst.

Considering Power Metal's roots come from Speed, only the Black Metal part is truthful, and even then its based upon the harsh vocals. Theres hardly any other elements of BM in Bodom's music.

I just tend to get pissed a litle when I ear some metalheads talk shit about popular metal music. You guys wouldnt even care to talk shit about CoB if they we're not recognized as one of the good bands in metal music.

I ain't no fanboy, but I hate it when I see other metalheads go around bashing all the music they do not listen to just cause they cant accept in anyway that there is something good in that kind of popular metal.
