do i seem like a metalhead or a stonerman? cuz i feel ike a metalstone....ha. uuhhhh. in listening to the black dahlia murder right now, they have the musical abilty of a decent death metal band, and the vocalist has a good scrowl type voice, but he does a metalcore-ish..yell. do you think if they just did the scrowl voice they would be considered tr00 death metal?

Amon Amarth - With Oden on Our Side:

the new AA is pretty good, but lacks a tad of heaviness that was prominent before, but at times, it's closer to Once Sent From the Golden Hall than anything else. Good album.

Ravencult - Cosmic Chaos:

a good Black Metal demo. Combine early Bathory with Samael, and you got their sound.

Kawir - Eumenides

another good Black Metal demo. Features Necroabyssos from Varathron on vocals. Check it out.
