Going by the song on their website, they sound pretty awesome to me.
good thing, this is the best folk metal I have ever heard in my life. And I heard a LOT. This is ever better than Fjoergyn. Holy shit...

I'm going to have to second this statement. With gusto.
Is deathcore is good ?
I never heard deathcore stuff...
Is this like hardcore metal/metalcore but with a death metal into it ?
If yess I want some bands name to listen...
If its like melodic death metal like old In Flames just dont bother... I dont like it very much except of shadows falls...

Preferably I like despised Icon because they execute there music better but im not big on the whole death-core thing because I don't like chugga chuggas in my metal.

They are Hardcore, not metal.
After re-listening to Slayer's God Hates Us All, I've found it consists of one good song("Disciple") and average filler(everything else). Christ Illusion, on the other hand, is several great songs("Fleshstorm", "Jihad", "Supremacist") and a batch of decent metal tunes(everything else), making it their best since Reign In Blood.

I agree, nothing like senseless violence set to music!
Hardcore dancing = Pathetic and Queer
It's just breakdancing for skinheads, sad as fuck.
I've had two back surgeries when I was younger and before I had gone to any shows so unfortunately I've never had the pleasure of moshing so when I say this realize it's coming from a guy who's never done it and probably never can. But I seriously think it's annoying. I go to a show to see a fucking band perform live and enjoy the music. I cant when the bar is full and the assholes dont know how to contain themselves to their own little area. It's okay with me if some guys want to do it, because the ideals of a general mosh pit make sense to me. But if your incapable of keeping the pit contained dont fucking do it. I dont want to have my guard up all show in case some idiot flies into me.
?

Oooh, that sucks ass. Despite my numerous mospit injuries, I still wouldn't be able to live without it. I'm a spoiled bitch because I've never had surgery and hope never to.
i've never really been to a big concert because i never at least 100 miles away form wherever it may be. but my dad was really into judas preist when he was young and he says that he saw someone get stabbed during one of their concerts, are mosh pits really that dangerous?

Hell yes, some have ended with fatalities. Corrosion of Conformity shows have acquired notoriety for being violent after four people got stabbed at one last year. Plus, you'll see plenty of broken noses(usually from getting punched in the face or headbanging into someone's skull) and even broken arms and legs(if a "Wall of Death" is declared, you best run for your life if you don't want to risk serious injury).

I like to slam dance once in a while i'll be honest but yeah hardcore dancing is gay I don't mind watching it espicially a big hardcore dance pit cause even the smallest kid could do the shit but if i get kicked in the head (It's happened way to many times) i'm ready to throwdown and not i'm not talking about the gay nu-metal band i'll beat some serious ass.... yay for venting but besides that it's all fun : )

As for dangerous shows, that's only in America. The metal scene is civilised here.

Can I join? My favorite types of metal are progressive and power metal.
bands/arists I like:
Symphony X
Helloween
Megadeth
Dream Theater
Liquid Tension Experiment
Queensryche
Fear Factory
Tool
Stratovarius
Rush
Dio
Deep Purple
Queen
Jimi Hendrix
Joe Satriani
Steve Vai
Bobaflex
Iron Maiden
some of Nevermore's stuff
There's more, but I think I listed enough. And I know some of the stuff I listed is rock and not metal, but I was just listing whatever I like.

So is anybody else looking forward to Symphony X's new album? I can't wait.
My friend suggested Firewind to me, has anyone heard them and if so are they worth the money?

Not yet. I recently started listening to them and I'll be wanting to get their Odyssey album first and maybe some other older albums of theirs before wanting to get their new album.

I'd say it's a very good album, but not one of the best Iron Maiden albums made.

Attention Metal Hellers!
Any Flash- capable members here? I'm concidering to start working on an Opeth- video. It would be a horrorstory telling the stroryline of one of their songs. Because of the length of their songs and my attemt to make the flash good, I'm eager to know if there are any fans of the band that would like to assist me in my quest for the daily top-5! Some basic skills would be necessary and good skills WILL be a plus, as will good working morale and imagination.
Basically I'm seeking creative people who can hold onto deals and LIKE OPETH. :)
The song would be one with a good story, I'm thinking of Ghost Of Perdition, I love that one.
If no-one's interested I might do it all by myself, but the workload would take a long time to go through...
Your thoughts...?
(NOT your's TotallySpies, you don't like Opeth, I know it already! :P )
