Well, you aren't a metalhead. Hate to tell you, but Slipknot, Kittie, and Rob Zombie aren't really metal. In Phails and Iron Maiden are, but that's hardly enough to let you in the club. However, it's Goatchrist's decision. Plus, I quit a while back, I'm just rambling.

No, it's because if somebody lists a band, we assume they think it's metal. If they have a 50/50 ratio, it becomes hard to tell if they really know what metal is. For instance, if somebody listed 6 metalcore bands, 6 numetal bands, 6 popular metal bands (Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, etc...) and 6 other metal bands, it would still be hard to let them in, cuz they're implying that numetal and punk-ish metalcore are metal, and they're not. And that makes people jumpy.
