We did it! We finally won in the Eurovision! The feeling was seriously surreal, as Finland maintained the leading position so steadily while one country after another gave their points...
After 40 years of never getting through, Finland finally won! Seeing the other teenypoppers, Lordi was especially outstanding. ^^
An old Finnish saying goes: "Kun Suomi voittaa Euroviisut, Helvetti jäätyy." , meaning "The day Finland wins the Eurovision, Hell freezes over." A friend of mine said he'd quit smoking when Hell freezes over... so I think it's time for him to fulfill that promise! :D
