Well, those are Cds I plan on getting my collection consists of: Cryptopsy - Once Was Not, Iron Maiden - Killers, Iron Maiden - The Number of The Beast, Iron Maiden - Dance of Death, Megadeth - Rust in Piece, Metallica - Master of Puppets, Slaughter - Strappado, and Vinyles with Death metal, andf Black metal songs on them. My collection isn't all that good.

I don't usually plan ahead on what CDs I want to get. I hear a song I like and order that CD or check out the reviews on the Archives and order a CD with great reviews.

My approach is rather asinine: Hear a song, or even a sample, I like and get the CD after obsessing over it.

I listen to a band first, and if I like that band a lot, I will most likely get an album/Ep/single by that band, or I may just download the singles. It all works out.

Are you kidding? Cryptopsy are one of the biggest death metal bands out there right now, I see them at HMV and other crappy chain stores all the time.

As for the whole Owens thing, I think he did a really good job of imitating Halford, but the material that he played on was godawful, a lot of it bordering on nu-metal.

GChrist - I "recieved" a Rotting Christ song - Exiled Archangel off of Thy Mighty Contract, and was wondering, how good is that cd? You are the authority on Rotting Christ, and I LOVE that song (I've been getting lucky with finding songs lately) and am considering getting that cd (and about 500000 others, lol) and was curious if that one was good. What other Rotting Christ cds are good?

This album is a definite YES. There is no weak song on the album, the whole album is a highlight ("Dive the Deepest Abyss" is the only track which is slightly weaker than the rest, still very good). You can't go wrong with it. Buy it! :) Also get "Non Serviam" and "Triarchy of the Lost Lovers". I'm sure you'll like them all.

I want out, I've learned nothing from this crew, and I doubt I can ever be benifical for any of you. I already know every band any noob promotes here (OFMF HAFF U HEURD VADUR YET?!) and I'm not much of a metalhead myself. I mean, I like some metal, which counts as the 'tr00 underground stuff', but I hate 99% of all metal bands or metalheads.

Well, you can only find Once Was Not in the stores around here. It'd be impossible to find None So Vile or Blasphemy Made Flesh though.

Actually, I can order it Via store. The CD store I go to allows you to order albums that are not in stock. It all works out in the end.
