that album is awesome. borknagar is probably the best band ive ever heard in my opinion. they just have a really good style overall. and epic is there second best IMO. i liked empiricism a little more.

I like Epic and Empiricism in different ways. Epic is, well, more epic, and has GREAT songs like Inner Ocean Hypothesis, Relate (Dialog), The Weight of the Wind, and Sealed Chambers of Electricity, the rest are mediocre. Empiricism, on the other hand, had 10 good songs on it, though none good as Inner Ocean Hypothesis and The Weight of the Wind, all are impressive, and are a lot more dark and melancholy.

Can anyone reccomend some good Goregrind bands?

Anyone have heard of awesome power metal band ? Im beginning to get into Iced Earth , Blind Guardian and the duo band Demons and Wizards.
Any other very good power metal band ? I would like to have a band that have more a medieval voice and less of a '80 metal voice like Iron Maiden voice or something like that.

Dont say Rhapsody I dont like them , and Gamma Ray of what I listening to doenst look so awesome , the voice are so '80 metal.

On the other hand I discovered some Black metal band like Finntroll. There song are fucking awesome , I can't believe but the voice are so piercing and girly and screeching . Is there any Black metal band that don't have a screeching voice ?
Because I can't stand a fucking second of that type of voice , personally its so fucking unhearable it look like music of the devil.

Maybe theres black band with better voice , maybe like a mix of Black/Death metal because I don'T mind Death metal voice .

I didnt like the two power metal band.

Dragonforce look like the best kickass band ever for monstruous guitar riff but the voices turned me off another time. This is what exactly I was saying , I dont like power metal '80 voice like Iron Maiden. Maybe its the best power metal band but the voice...

For the other power metal band didnt liked it one bit. I dont know if the other song are like that but of what I have heard I dont like classical keyboard sound. Sorry dont like keyboard at all. I dont mind if its not so present or do good solo and rythm but with a classical sense feeling , its good for classical listener.

Didnt listen to Behemoth. I will do when I find some song.

Well, my plan to form a Metal band wasn't very successful. Though I never got a chance to really discuss the idea with my friend. Anyway, I just got Megadeth's Rust In Piece album from my dad. Though I didn't get much of a chance to listen to it.
