ya i noticed. congratulations. bands are always fun. good luck with choosing a style for it. i say you just merge them all into one big super style. that seems like the best way to go.

Thanks. Yeah, I can't focus on one style, because my other members are too different.....well, I'm going to have a jam session with Cante tomorrow, then I'll find out how good he is :)

Well, I'm starting a band, but nothing is really sure yet. We don't have a name yet and a drumset is missing

Response to Metal Hell 2004-05-11 00:43:49

like i said, in flames, almost all metal from like the seventies and eighties thats like black sabbath and stuff like that, slayer, static-x, killswitch engage, ill nino, anthrax, some korn but not that much, mushroomhead, six feet under, hatebreed, exodus, moonspell, mudvayne, and iced earth. i think thats about it. i dont know why but a lot of the kids at my school say i listen to bad music. :\

Response to Metal Hell 2004-05-11 00:52:15

you know that stone sour has members of slipknot in it. corey is in it. i think mick is too. i dont know i dont really listen to them that much. nice playlist tho. you reminded me of a couple of bands too. =)

Response to Metal Hell 2004-05-11 01:07:28

yea. even tho i dont listen to some bands as much i try not to forget about them. i try to listen to all the bands that i like for the same amount of time. that might be a little hard with your playlist.

so this past weekend i was listening to a lot of dream theatre. you should love them. i borrowed the new york burning cd from my friend and its kick ass. its a live cd from a show they did in new york. what's odd about it, is on the original cover, they had a picture of the world trade towers on fire and the cd came out on september 11. odd and interesting. they pulled that version off the rack right away. my friend got a copy of that version however because he knows the guy at this record store and got it from him after it was pulled off. its never been opened and he's curently selling it on ebay. last time i talked to him the bidding was up to like 50 bucks. madness.

It's good to listen to older stuff now n then :)

I love that song. One of the best off that album in fact. I'd listen to Radiogrounds if it weren't for my crappy connection, and the buffering...

I don't think i'll be getting too much more music for a while now... maybe a few albums, 4 or 5.... but im pretty content with my selection right now...

Damn, I missed the 1000th post :P

YAY, we rock!

Well, I just wrote a song, I think it's not too bad, even though it's one of my first, made it for band, don't judge it too hard, but tell me what you think:

Wings of Insanity

Those wings, those wings, I can hear them growl.
Slitting my flesh, eating my soul.
They are coming, I can almost feel:

[Chorus]

Those wings, those wings, of insanity
trashing through the darkness
killing humanity.

Those wings, those wings, bring us misery
wiping out the masses,
causing insanity.

[/Chorus]

I can barely breath, where are they hiding?
I feel them underneath, bringing me to my knees.

My blood starts boiling in their heat, humanity sees it’s
day of defeat, judgement day is happening, dementia is overwhelming.

[Chorus]

Those wings, those wings, of insanity
trashing through the darkness
killing humanity.

Those wings, those wings, bring us misery
wiping out the masses,
causing insanity.

[/Chorus]

Very nice. And to answer your previous question (2 pages back), I shall be 17 next Febuary, the first, the very day after my Brother turns 15. =P I'm so old.... Also I r getting swish. Much better than flash, and more reliable (or so it seems.)

Sorry I haven't been on for a while, relationship problems needed to be ironed out. But I'm back! And luckily, my friendship with mt ex hasn't been ruined.
But, to the music. On a sort of very weakly related topic, I got Kevin and Perry Go Large and GTA III today as I visited Plymouth. I love K&P. It's so funny.
I looked at a Killswitch Engage album and thought I might buy it sometime, looks quite good. But I will download some first to make sure I like it. Nearly bought a GN'R t-shirt too...

Help, I'm trapped inside this guy's signature!

Response to Metal Hell 2004-05-11 14:31:49

I r got SWISH and art work is go. First of all, I'll design a back ground for the video, Head. =P

This song took even more work...I thought about it for hours, tell me how you like my song :)

Suppressed Minorities

Haunted by majorities, feared by the people,
Suppressed by authorities, stabbed in the back!

[Chorus]

Rise up minorities! Show no fear!
Rage against majorities, they are not welcome here!

[/Chorus]

You raped our lands, destroyed our beliefs, you fucked up our families, and spread damned misbeliefs. But now your time has come, prepare for revolution, your sets have just been set for execution!

[Chorus]

Rise up minorities! Show no fear!
Rage against majorities, they are not welcome here!

[/Chorus]

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
We will extinct your leadership, your nation will fall.
Don’t beg for mercy, on your feet you will crawl!

[Chorus]

Rise up minorities! Show no fear!
Rage against majorities, they are not welcome here!

[/Chorus]
