That's one of my favorite songs by them. That and Advent.
And no Mr. Goat, I have not heard them.
Anybody here listen to Keep Of Kallesin? I've been trying to get one of their CD's. They seem so good (Frost + Attila Csihar and a few others) but they're shit is so hard to find and expensive!

^^ That one seems rather cheap, Ghoul...although I think it's just an EP, but it's still their latest release.

What style are they? they aren't on MA
I checked MA too and didnt see them.. This is quite odd... Its very rare for something metal not to be on MA... Give us more specifications, you have drawn our interest.

Ya, I'm into enslaved a lot. That, along with Borknagar and Isengard is the main influence for Asgarður.

My influences have come quite a long way :P my main influences are Rotting Christ, Immortal, Varathron and even some Nortt.
Another band I've been listening to lately is Samael. The new stuff sucks ass, but their 1990 - 1996 material is pretty damn good.
saw Dragonfoce
their solofight is now officially legendary. Holy shit their keyboard player is insane. FUCK that guy for CoB, he can't even play with his nose >:(
Better keyboards than those of CoB
I like Enslaved a lot, all their stuff I've heard I think is excellent, and I almost bought Isa the other day...No monies...Still a great band.
I just wanted to share this pic taken at the DragonForce show with you guys ;)
Yeah I shook his hand
Sorry for the double post...
I meant to say I've heard plenty of better keyboardists than the one from COB

So do mine. Mine range from blacker than black metal like Stormblut or Stormnatt or Sargeist or Tsjuder through speed demons like MayheM, 1349, Marduk, and Dark Funeral to depressive pagan giants like Burzum and Nargaroth to avante garde geniuses like Borknagar, Solefald, and Vintersorg to outright electronic weirdness like Ulver, Neotropic, Fennesz, and Merzbow to melodic darkness like (early) dimmu borgir, (early) cof, Rotting Christ, Sear Bliss, Mystic Forest, and Dawn. I have a lot of influences. It's so great that I can't touch base with them all with one band; that's why I have so many.

Two bands I have been listening to lately are Clandestine Blaze (kvlt black metal) and Silencer (suicidal black metal.) Silencer has a good keyboardist, and has a total vibe of hatred. And Clandestine Blaze is pretty good kvlt bm. Kinda has this eerily removed sound to it. I reccomend both.
Man, I hav not posted on this in forever. But yea lately all I have been into s alot og grind, harsh noize, and a little doom and some thrash.
This has been my playlist-
Dismembered Fetus-Generation Of Hate ( this is seriously the most pissed off. hate filled album ever. Its so harsh. I literaly want to kill people when I hear this.)
Ariel Sharons Head In A Industrial Press - Nothing gets my dick harder than the sounds of a dying amercian 7''( the fucking craziest japense grind with sick ass old school riffs. go get it!)
World- Disography - ( brutal noise from japan. its killer and there is no guitar. Just a machine gun drum and mics. so harsh!)
Electric Wizard- Dopethrone
Phobia - Grind Your Fuckin Head In ( the album name states it all)
I post alot in the other metal thread but I am gettin tired of it, it's alot ok kids sayin the same thing over and over that also have no clue what there talkin about.

Oh well, anyone in for a nice conversation? start a topic please ;)
I dont think metal is really that great. I mean, techno can fit all categories in different ways.

I don't think metal is all that great too actually, I just happen to like quite a lot of metal songs.
