To answer the question on the previous page about how many CD's everyone owns, I own about 50 extreme metal (pretty much just your straight death/deathgrind). It sounds like more when I say the first CD in my rack is Aborted, and the last one is Zyklon (yes, I arrange everything in alphabetical order).

I make a habit of not hanging onto burnt CD's. Not because they are pirated, but just because they look so wrong mixed in with my pristine CD's.

I don't own as many CD's as I'd like to, but now that I get money from the government, I can afford to buy more :)

I don't bother with seven string guitars. I use baritone guitars instead. What a riot that only two of my instruments are not six strings... And one of them is a guitar, the other is a bass. But, my other bass is a six string :)

Sorry dude. The sound I pump from my baritone guitar=even with a fifteen watt practice amp at quarter volume I have to stand at least 20 feet away to avoid feedback. The pickups are that hawt.

I also have a 150 watt bass amplifier which I outfitted with a celestation 12" and a carvin 4" tweeter. I use it as a cab, and it blows some serious air!!!!

Hey, we're talking amps. I like where this is going.

My main amp is a 50 watt Sovtek all valve head (MiG-50).

I don't use it so much as a gigging amp, as I use it for it's sound. When I plug it into my 15" Altect cab, it sounds exactly like Dying Fetus (Stop At Nothing).

My powerhouse amp would have to be my 160 Peavey Mace head. 6(!!!) power tubes with a solid state preamp (doesn't sound too bad either). I run that into my custom (home made :P) cab which has 4 12" speakers that I got from some surplus cinema speakers cabinets. Yes, it's loud :).

7 strings pwn by the way. But my 8 string is going to dominate :)

7 strings... They are ok... But I dont realy think they pwn... They are just handy.

I know this should actually go into the "show NG your instrument" topic, but that one is gay, and I promised to post a pic of my new sweethart anyway ;)

as for amps, I play for myself on this tiny-ass 15W Fender amp... when playin for fun with the guys (soon to be an official BM band.. I hope.. if our drummer stops being an ass..) I play with a 150W Laney, cute little thing
