I really should make it a New Year's Resolution to listen to Primus.

The only industrial metal that matters is Godflesh. Industrial metal started and stopped with them.
Well then there's Ministry
DRINKING THE BLOOD OF JESUS, DRINKING IT RIGHT FROM HIS VEINS! LEARNING TO SWIM IN THE OCEAN, LEARNING TO PROWL IN HIS NAME!
I mean yes, even though the only Ministry album I have so far is Pslam 69. Title track is so good, though.

Hey there. :)
Black Sabbath, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Testament, Faith No More, Pantera, Anthrax, Megadeth, Cradle of Filth, Strapping Young Lad, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Lamb of God
These are all acceptable to me.
The Deftones, Slipknot, Disturbed, Korn, System of a Down
However, these are not. As part of the Metal Hell's standards, we don't accept nu-metal bands. Even so, you've still pleased me with the other bands you mentioned. Welcome to the hell!
I also wish to learn more about death metal, 'grind' styles, power metal, and prog. metal, as some of the material I have heard out of these areas are lacking in my library and I am interested in listening to more of it.
I can easily help you out with power metal. If you want to go with some starters, my recommendations are Helloween, Gamma Ray and Blind Guardian. If you've given these guys a listen to and wish to hear more, feel free to ask. As for progressive metal, the most I know are Dream Theater, Symphony X, Opeth, Fates Warning, Queensrÿche and Mastodon but they're all good stuff. Well, Queensrÿche's dependable, though. If you wish to hear more from the prog metal genre, I'm sure others will assist you.
