Speaking of, I told one of my (supposedly, after what I'm about to say, I'm not so sure) metal-liking friends about metal-archives.com, and he looked up Slipknot and wondered why they weren't in there...I wonder if that is indicative of something?

Oh, I got Doomsday Machine by Arch Enemy...Its not too bad, but it left me craving faster, harder stuff, so I might look into their back catalog, I heard it was both of those things. That aside, though, it is a pretty good quality cd, I've owned (and heard) much worse and would totally recommend it for some (rather) easy-listening death metal.

I heard that some songs are really good on that album, and some suck totally. I have "Nemesis," and I must say, it is one kickass song.

That's awesome... Due to the lack of good drummers in El Sobrante, I find myself drumming all too often. Therefore, my drumming skill has increased. Currently, I'm the drummer in two bands, (excluding Kali Yuga/midian) Goat Pervertor and Rectal Cannon.

Nemesis was the reason I bought the album, and I'm not dissapointed. It is true some songs are better than others, but nothing quite that drastic (in my opinion). Nemesis is one of the stronger songs on the album, however, so I wouldn't expect everything quite like that. Still, its pretty good.

G-Christ - good luck with finding a place to jam. Can be hard sometimes (a metal garage band...HA)

Hell, all the bands I was in during high school were garage metal bands. Just toxic, misanthropic, metal with corpsepaint, heavily distorted guitars, indecipherable vokills, and blastbeats!!!

Hell, you could just vokill your way into vokill heaven. Just dress up in as much leather as possible, and insert spikes and such and you're well on your way to metal heaven.

And to Bred and Setsuna, Black Death is still basically "high school" black metal, it's the same style. I wish that it weren't on hold right now, because it was basically caustic black metal.

Tugnut. My sister is a friend of the frontman. They're good fun. I think they're going on a Canadian Tour in a bit so I might actually get a chance to see them. For now I'll just have to content myself with Children Of Bodom, Trivium and Amon Amarth on Nov. 22 and Fear Factory with Strapping Young Lad on Dec. 5.
