There are good BC Rich models (Slash uses a Mockingbird for example, and Mr. Schuldiner uses a Stealth and who can argue with that?).
The Bronze series of Rich's though are considered to be comically terrible. And yes, they are pretty much for one genre, Metal/Hard Rock.
Well, I don't know. But I'd still go for a Jackson myself :)
Not a fan myself, I'm an Ibanez man. But neither are really appropriate for Stonery music. They're both guitars than reek of precision and meticulously delivered shreddability.
You want something laid back for Stoner Metal. Something that was designed by a child and made by a woman.
