I saw them once before, just after they released their 2nd album but at the time I only had the 1st album and they didn't play any songs from it. It kinda sucks going to a concert and not knowing any of the songs. Since then I've really wanted top see them again and finally, after over 5 years, the time has come. Fuck yeah!

I'm terribly sorry, but literally none of those are metal that we listen to in here. They're pretty much bands we hate and might plot to blow up one day.

I bought a $200 dollar Dean and it provides all the tones I need. Bright bluesy cleans, country picking, and that driving low end stoner sound too. Also my Ibanez is ace.

I also was told by many musicians and music store sellers that BC Rich was crap.
And not only for guitars. When I was in the process of buying a bass guitar I asked a guy if their was a reason why the BC Rich cost was so high and if it was better than the Yamaham bass I finally bought. And the answer he gave me was: "The look... The only thing you pay for when you get a BC Rich is the look... Other than this, it's crap."

Is it because it's not good for anything else than metal? Or is it just cause it's plain fucking crap?

There are good BC Rich models (Slash uses a Mockingbird for example, and Mr. Schuldiner uses a Stealth and who can argue with that?).
The Bronze series of Rich's though are considered to be comically terrible. And yes, they are pretty much for one genre, Metal/Hard Rock.

Not a fan myself, I'm an Ibanez man. But neither are really appropriate for Stonery music. They're both guitars than reek of precision and meticulously delivered shreddability.

I'd recommend getting (*coughcough* *winkwink*) Guitar Pro, all the good tabs on there include bass and drums as well as guitar, and in my experience they have been accurate - I played bass for a few years, sold it a while ago though.

Plus I really like it for learning stuff as you can play along with the tabs whilst you read it, and if something is tricky you can slow it down and highlight sections you want to loop so you can work your way up to speed with a metronome.

Sorry, none of those bands are real metal. We can give you suggestions to what you can listen to, though. I suggest you start with Slayer.

On the other hand, i've been downloading so much of Dying Fetus and I can't even believe how amazing they are. Anybody to say that they are not just simply outstanding or just plain awesome has got to be crazy.
