btw, my old main band split up recently, we kicked our drummer out(because he sucked ass) and decided to play death metal in the vein of Obituary, we're looking for a drummer right now :) we're called "Coffinfeeder".

has nothing to do with my one-man project, though.

Trumpets rule :) sounds interesting to me, hope you can do it sometime.

Btw, anyone heard the new Hypocrisy album yet? i heard about 70% from it, and it crushes the last two, maybe three albums easily. I love it.

Where are the clasic metal heads? Theres just alot of friggi'n goth and death metal, although there are some cool dudes who really apreciate all of the clasics i.e. AC/DC Deep Purple, Guns and Roses,and all that cool stuff. Clasic metal is the shits!

I wouldn't consider any of them metal really, AC/DC though harder than other stuff at the time, it is still semi-lighthearted and more of a hardrock, same with Deep Purple, I guess I would consider Guns and Roses a hair band, but as I said a little more hardrock, especially if considering around that time Bathory, Slayer and Metallica were around

I recently discovered Arch Enemy while checking out some swedish bands, and I know they arent the hardest, but I kind of like them, and the chick that fronts the band now really impresses me...What do ya'll think? (I can type hick if I want)

I don't mind Arch Enemy, but I liked the old singer alot more than the chick. I saw em live once with the chick singing, and I couldn't concentrate on the songs, because I was at the front and all I was concentrating on were her tits. Hmmmmm.

I'll settle this debate once and for all (I'm The_Ghoul) by saying GNR ARE NOT FUCKING METAL. Where, in their sound, do you hear metal? They're rock, not metal. Anybody who calls them metal is full of shit and doesn't know real metal. Megadeth was 80's metal, GNR was rock. Anybody who says Mr. Brownstone or Paradise City are anything but classic rock anthems are idiots. Not that I don't like GNR, it's just that they aren't metal.

On the other hand, I finally released the EP by my grindcore band, Rectal Cannon. The songs are:

1. Fucking Cunt
2. Violent Fucking Armaggeddon
3. Putrid Fucking Dismemberment
4. Covered in Flies and Shit
5. Strangled Fucking Dead
6. Raped in Every Hole
7. Necroerotic Love Song

Of those seven, Necroerotic Love Song is the only one with intelligible lyrics. Also, it's the only one that isn't going 200 mph. Also, it's the only one longer than 3:00. I love fucking grindcore.
