The Hammer of Doom is a cracking song :).

I'm assuming you enjoyed Nightfall then :D?

Yeah I guess. I really diden't want to but seeing that you asked nicely I will.

So I forgort to tell you a story about this COF faggot I met on xbox live. I was playing Uno you know Im gay like that lol and I join this room. So these two guys are talking about how they went to a cradle of fiilth concert and Dani was late. So like 10 minutes later getting sick and tired of listening to this suck playing kiss ass towards Cradle of Filth. I decide to forward some better black metal bands to him.

I sent him message COF really isn't that great dani really dosen't scream. I sent him Carpatheian Forest,Emperor,Endstille. He states and now I quote. "COF Is better that Carpatheian forest." This is where the needle in my head declares to shun him. So I call him a goth faggot and said hey asshole im just trying to suggest better metal for your enjoyment. But no dick head says I don't give a shit. So I told him Why don't you go suck Dani off then faggot.

I blocks him. end of story. :3 thee end.

So do you just want me to redo Bleached Bones?

Mentioning folk metal, does anyone know any bands similar to Elvenking? In case you do not know, Elvenking is a folk power metal band with some slight death metal like-vocals.

Why, that is a very good question young one!

Being the resident powerfag, now that Rokuro is gone forever, I shall answer your question!

Manowar, Tursias, Falconer, Alestorm, Spellblast, Dragonland, Leprechaun, Power Quest, Battleloor, Fairy Land, etc.

Those are all bands that are power metal and really folk metal-ish as well.

I love Elvenking's instrumental and vocals, but personally I can't stand there lyrics.

Oh yes, it contains more badass riffage which Epicus Doomicus Metallicus also had and is why I love that album so much within a short amount of time.

Normally, lyrics don't matter - But are nice to have good.

But with Elvenking, the vocals are sooooooooooo easy to understand and the lyrics are just horribly out of place.

It sounds like they spent all their time making instrumental and then just pulled lyrics out of a hat to go with their songs.

Regardless of lyrics, I still enjoy Elvenking's music a lot. Infact, I only have their demo album and Heathenreel, so I'll need to get more of their stuff really soon.

It's a week on Tuesday for America. Also, at least it's coming out really soon, unlike Wintersun's Time which is taking forever to come out.

I personally think The Winter Wake is Elvenking's best album. I haven't listened to much of their newest album, The Scythe, but if the one song that I heard is anything to judge it by, it could probably put The Winter Wake on a run for its money.

That album is a few awesome moments surrounded by a bunch of bullshit. It's depressing how far Robert Lowe has fallen. Listen to the Lowe edition of Solitude...

Actually, you know what,I'm listening to Lowe's rendition of Solitude on my home stereo rather than the shitty one in my bosses company van and everything is sounding a lot better. Disregard that. He actually did a pretty competent job with that one.

But I still stand by there being some weak songwriting on King of the Grey Islands though. I was pumped for the first four tracks or so but things just kind of went downhill, then back uphill for a second, then back down.

Reggeaton drum beats at the beginning :P

Both bands are pretty good. I like Moonsorrow better, but it's not really what I was looking for. I really like the way Ulver mixed both Black and Folk on Bergtatt and I would like to find something that would be going this way.

Thanks for the suggestions though. I'll check more of Moonsorrow's stuff though, cause I've read that their albums are all quite different from the others.

IMO, i don't think any black/folk can top Bergtatt. You might want to try out Dark Forest or Windir, though, they may be what you're looking for.
