how about my shit smells better then their sound? Honestly musically they are fine, but their whole act is bullshit. I don't really find the whole technical guitar for the sake of being technical to be good either. Kind of like Necrophagist...if they would tone down the Tech, then I'd probably like them. I'm not a fan of his scream either. But if you like them, then its fine. There are much worse bands out there.

I never heard anyone classifying them as technical... their guitar riffs are not anymore technical than any Symphonic Black Metal bands riffs.

Anyway... for the screams, it's really just about tastes...
lol for Necrophagist... they really are just too technical :P

but for real, if the intro to this isnt technical, then I dont know what is. Either way, Abigail is Both Black and Deathcore anway. Not just Symphonic Black Metal. But as I said, there is much worse bands out there that claim to be metal that arent.

I AM ABOMINATION!!!

Also, there are 3 simple steps to making a black metal album cover.

1. Take picture in black and white of the forest nearest you, when the sun is setting
2. Import that into Photoshop and desaturate it to degrade it's quality and to make it grim and kvlt
3. Add black border around image (optional) and also imprint krieg logo that should be unreadable.

And you're done.

First of all, no one is ever too young to die of natural cuases. Secondly, who said anything about their deaths being natural. Maybe they'll actually listen to the music they make and have a hernia a die.

no one said anything about it having to make sense either

So apparently Prog Nation was in Boston on August 2nd...

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU - I thought it was on September 2nd not August 2nd!!! I can't believe I fucking missed it. :(

Also been writing some great song lyrics lately for the first time ever and i'm on a role!

I'm not in a band but I want to join or form a band that combines Power Metal and Thrash Metal perfectly when it comes to instrumental, lyrics and vocals - Also Progressive metal length songs.

Here are some song namesssssss and approximately how long i'd think they'd be on an actual album assuming they are how I want them now, also the order of the song on the album assuming these were all the songs:

1.) Pleasure to meet you, Pleasure to defeat you! - 7 minutes - PM instrumental, TM influenced - TM lyrics, PM Influenced.

2.) Excommunicator!!! - 6 and a half minutes - TM Instrumental, PM influenced - PM lyrics, TM influenced.

3.) Slay The Abstinent - 5 minutes - PM instrumental, TM influenced - PM lyrics, TM influenced.

4.) Mutilation is Overrated, Go Annihilate! - 4 minutes, almost 5 - TM Instrumental, PM influenced - TM lyrics, PM Influenced.

5.) Damnation Freedom Fighters - 5 and a half minutes - PM instrumental, TM influenced - PM lyrics, TM influenced.

6.) Burn The Witchs, Worship The Prophets - 11 and a half minutes - Incredibly Thrash metal instrumental and lyrics, but it's also incredibly power metal instrumental and lyrics. It's really impossible for me to be able to say which genre is more dominant in this song.

7.) MINDFUCK! - 14 minutes - TM Instrumental, PM influenced - TM lyrics, PM Influenced.

8.) How to become an Immaculate being - Around 18 minutes - This song is honestly Progressive Metal mainly with a lot of thrash metal and Power metal influences.

9.) BLAM!!! - 2 and a half minute thrashtastical bonus track ode to Newgrounds for fun, also balls to the wall insane fast drums.

Instruments needed for this album:
Two guitars
Bass Guitar
Drums
Keyboards/keytar(Myself)

So five, or six members.(Depending on whether the singer plays guitar or bass)

DISCUSS.

Other than that, i've just been banned lately and at camp. Not too much going on with me.

Helloween - Mirror Mirror (The Dark Ride is the only good Andi Deris album with Helloween IMO)

Make war, not love.

Long descriptive list of album.

Instruments needed for this album:
Two guitars
Bass Guitar
Drums
Keyboards/keytar(Myself)

So will it be power metal vocals, maybe not so high pitched clean vocals, growls vary between any and all of these?

So five, or six members.(Depending on whether the singer plays guitar or bass)

Speaking of which, are there any keyboard players out there that do lead vocals?

More or like.

I can't describe it, but I have this thought of there being a singer out there that does falsetto thrash metal vocals, no growls.

Like it sounds like high pitch thrash metal vocals at first, but if you listen to em you realize they are really aggressive and angry falsetto vocals.

Basically, the only person I can think of even close to this is Hansi of Blind Guardian and Wizards & Demons.

But Hansi isn't a falsetto vocalist or thrash metal vocalist. lol

Speaking of which, are there any keyboard players out there that do lead vocals?

Kevin Moore does some solo work with keyboards + vocals, no?

And i'm sure there are way more, I just don't know who.

The singer of The Fray?

The thrash metal albums I ordered last week (i.e. Exodus' Bonded by Blood, Kreator's Extreme Aggression and Overkill's The Years of Decay) arrived through the post the other day. All great releases but I wonder if there's any other albums of Exodus I should pick up. The only other album of theirs I have is Tempo of the Damned.

Exodus albums worth getting:

Bonded By Blood
Fabulous Disaster

Those are there only great albums, I suppose you could also get Pleasures of the Flesh but it isn't quite as good as those two.

And tempo of the damned? Isn't that there grunge album with A Good Day To Die on it or no?

What? It's still an awesome song. One of the finest Helloween songs outside the Keepers albums.

I think that the Dark Ride is the weakest song on the album, personally.

Speaking of which, Wish I could Fly is sooooooooooo out of place on this album. it doesn't fit in well at all with the rest of the songs.
