How the fuck can you label all of this music? It all just sounds like metal to me...maybe some good examples of diffrent metal types of bands to listen to?

System of a Down? Hardcore? Extreme? I've never laughed harder in my life. They are humbled by the Norwegian Black Metal scene in terms of extremity and hardcore-ness.
Ok, here is some of Metal's Many Subgenres, and a corresponding band for each one.
Power Metal: Iced Earth
Thrash: Slayer
Death Metal: Edge Of Sanity
Gothenburg Metal: In Flames
Speed Metal: Children Of Bodom
Black Metal: Dimmu Borgir
NWOBHM: Iron Maiden
Heavy Metal: Judas Priest
Metalcore: Killswitch Engage
Alternative Metal: System Of A Down
Doom Metal: Black Sabbath
Stoner Rock: Fireball Ministry

They are one of the most SOFTCORE "Metal" bands out there.

I rest my case. Sorry to sound as if I'm trashing SOAD, they're a great band, but they are nowhere near hardcore or extreme. And never take me too seriously, I'm a happy person, a lot of what I do is either in jest or just being friendly. I don't insult too many people unless I think they really deserve it, and liking a band I don't isn't one of them. Don't worry, I think you're cool. Just look at my list and get one of those albums. You can get them cheap if you look around hard enough.

No. Black Metal: Mayhem or Black Metal: Gorgoroth or Black Metal: Dissection or Black Metal: Immortal, but not DB. They are on the line between symphonic heavy metal and symphonic black metal, I wouldn't use them as an example.

Well that just proves how much i know about Black Metal.

Meh. Want your head to be torn off? Get Diabolis Interium. If you can have a soundtrack to hell, that would be it. If you can have guitarists and drummers from hell, this band fits the bill.

Hehe. Look at my death metal recommendations, I don't know much about death metal. Oh, and if it isn't already there, I'd add Arcturus's "Le Masquerade Infernale" to the over the top melodic BM list.

Not many bands in there, heh, good list nonetheless though.
Edge Of Sanity - Crimson II needs to go on there though, great album.
I also sensed teh absense of Hypocrisy and Kataklysm.
and Overkill needs to go on your Thrash list, In my opinion, they are the best Thrash Metal band out there.

Go for it (copy and paste) and make an updated list with Arcturus "Le Masquerade Infernale" on there, and an album by overkill and Hypocrisy and Kataklysm and Edge of sanity and all those other bands that belong there, I'm not an expert on thrash or death metal, just Black Metal.
Seems like Tharifika has problems with Black Metal recommendations and Ghoul with Death Metal =P
I love both genres, so I'll just post my recommendations, Hellraiser, you should take a look:
Death Metal:
Entombed, Exhumed, Cannibal Corpse, Origin, Illdisposed, (new) Behemoth, Nile, Fleshcrawl, Death, Kataklysm, Hypocrisy, Decapitated, Carcass, Bolt Thrower, Bloodbath, Aborted, Monstrosity, Scaffold, Hate Eternal, Suffocation, Deicide, Pungent Stench, Angelcorpse, Defleshed, Vomitory,....
Black Metal
Rotting Christ, Gorgoroth, Mayhem, Immortal, Limbonic Art, Burzum, Agathodaimon, Belphegor, Dark Funeral, Marduk, Dissection, Emperor, Naglfar, Windir, Nokturnal Mortum, Abigor, Christian Epidemic, Graveland, Nargaroth,....
These are the bands I listen to the most(in their genre).

I'm downloading it right now. :)

Good.
How many songs do you actually want to put on your side of the split?

Four or five. I want to be on the first part of the CD, since one of my songs will be an intro song.

I have no problem with that :) I also have one song finished already. It's called "The Fall of Man"

I have one done already too, I haven't come up with a title for it yet. Btw, your vocs on the song I sent you are sick as hell. I love them.
Also, I am currently recording another demo with my current band, Black Death. Song names aren't decided yet, we'll get to that sunday.
On a different note, I will be releasing my new double album soon. I will accept money orders, so yeah.

Why did you change your name again

Thanks, that's great :)

Very good. I'm not as far with my current band, we are just doing rehearsals right now, not more.

Damn you are fast :)
BTW, should I add your band to Metal-Archives? It doesn't seem to be there, yet.

Not my style. They're technically great, but just not my style.
Sorry to double post, but what do you think of the album art for my new album, Conformation? It uses the pic below, but adds my logo in the bottom right corner and in the top has the word conformation in short letters across the top.

Neat cover, I like it.
Sorry, but my request on Metal Archives got cancelled, mainly because I wasn't able to tell when your albums were released and I wasn't able to add them, for that reason :/

2005 for all the listed albums, and the others were in 2004. X(
And btw, I printed "To Walk The Bloodstained Vastlands" today, and yes, -Tharifika- gets credit for the sig.

Are all these albums actually self-financed full-lenghts or have you done some demos too?

yesm, they are full lengths, self financed. You see, my apartment is a recording studio. I made some demos to get people interested in me, but the rest are all self financed full lengths.
