Neck-breaking German Speed/Thrash! Also not entirely memorable, but fun nonetheless.

I also listened to "Souls of a New Machine" by Fear Factory and it's also quite nice. Brutal as hell, especially compared to all their other material.

Of course a large amount of Ministry still ringing in my ears. Their last two albums are just great (I knew them before, though).

Any new discoveries from your side?

I just found myself some musicians to play with me. I was hoping to start some project this year, and it seems that it's going to start pretty well. We don't really know what were gonna play exactly, but it's most likely going to start as a Melodic Death Metal band. Wish me luck :)

I'm a vocalist, and I'm trying to get the biggest range possible with my voice. So vocalists like Christian Älvestam are good models for me. He has some nice clean vocals and awesome high pitch screams and heavy growls. Tomas Lindberg is pretty good two. He was the vocalist for Nightrage for the albums Sweet Vengeance and Descent Into Chaos.

I know that some of you guys don't like the clean vocals cause you think they sound commercial, but I really like the contrast between clean vocals and growls.

So i finally went and checked out Dream Theater after listening to a few songs, and after putting off for quite a while. I picked up the greatest hits album for $12 down from $30, and i must say im enjoying it. Im more into the heavier side of things for them though, so which album of theirs should i get next?
