My hair is looking glorious today :).

hehe true, but its something i dont do now :P and drying it then knowing my hair i would probably have to straighten it as i would end up like a giant ball of fuzzzz and at the same time i would love to have it but then theres the terrible mullet stage blah blah blah blah blah

the only reason i have to grow it is: I am curious
then i have a million reasons not to

It's also cheaper.

Response to Metal Hell 2009-01-24 19:21:18

He shaves his head though (I believe?) so thats probably cheaper.

I love my long hair though, I've never felt comfortable styling my hair when it was short and I never did. But when its long it suits me so much better and requires no effect.

Plus long hair is pretty. And some girls are into it, and these girls also happen to be the sort of girl i'm into.

The Sinking Belle however is the greatest song to listen to when you're hungover. Its just so peaceful and nice. Its like hugs (to keep that theme going).

I'm hungover so bad right now too, just got back from an 18th.
Listening to Shape of Despair, it's like a big warm hug and pat on the back :P

My friends newly formed Black Metal band played their first gig there, it was pretty mad.
They played mostly covers; some Opeth and Satyricon with a few originals.

yeh i do that myself (ok the initial cost of the clippers but ive made that back ten times over compared to the price of getting it done at the hair dressers)

thats why i made the change from short(ish) hair, which required 'spiking up' etc to shaved which has no styling or care needed. i may give it a go especially if i go travelling next year in which case i just wont do anything to it

Hair looks good when grown from a shaved head.

2 days ago:

Got into my dads car.

Started driving.

Shared a joint together \m/

Listened to heaps of doom/stoner stuff like Electric Wizard, Sleep, Melvins.

Got to Perth.

Lit up another doobie.

Went out to a mexican resturaunt.

Ate a big burrito.

Drank two glasses of wine.

Got back to our friends house.

Lit another blunt.

Drank two cans of Jacks.

Went to sleep.

1 day ago:

Got into car with dad.

Went to airport.

Flew in an aeroplane for 2 and a half hours stoned listening to metal.

Got to Adelaide.

Drank whiskey.

Went to sleep.

I'm dedicating this next week to Ulver. I'm going to listen to nothing but them and see if I can break my record for listens in a week. Also, I made a sweet wallpaper from a screenshot from the It Is Not Sound video. Will post my final count on Sunday.

Kreator, Exodus, Belphegor, Warbringer and Epicurean are all touring the US, Canada and I think(But not positive) the UK together In late March, April and early May.

Am I the only person who is really excited to see those bands all play live?

The mexican food was great. I ate the burrito with a knife and fork. It was fancy. It's just food man. It was good food. Just because it doesn't come from mexico doesn't mean shit.

Also, just went and smoke me some Adelaide weed. It's the shiz fuckers. I. Am. High. Fuck yeah. Fuck fucking hell yeah.

Someone give me something to just quickly sum up why Slipknot aren't the best band ever just because they sell more.

because they have to sell to more people, they have to dumb down their sound so that they appeal to the lowest common denominator, meaning simpler, shittier music. this is why experimental is never popular and over-produced mainstream filth is.

Tell them to look at Britney Spears, for example. She makes shitacular music but she sells records faster than you can say shit.

Also, only four of the seventy guys in Shitknot actually do something musically, the others run around like autistic monkeys shouting at the crowd.

Simply because talent=/=popularity.

Fans of heavier music are in the minority compared to 10 year olds who will eat up anything the newest disposaple pop musician throws on their plate.

Thus, Slipknot are nothing but a shitty pop band.

And also because they're not Metal.

Also, on a completely unrelated note:
What songs (Metal or not) would you actually call 'beautiful'?

I'd say Soothsayer and Electric Tears by Buckethead, and also Draw Me by Sonata Arctica.
