For me, it's:
Bathory - Baptised in Fire and Ice
The Hammerheart CD arrived here yesterday and I'm enjoying this album a lot. :)

Oh yeah, I remember that one "What are you listening to?" thread that I posted in a lot. It was eventually deleted and I can't remember how many posts I lost as a result of that.

I agree. If the post just consists of "Listening to X by Y", it's pointless, but I'm cool if you're adding discussion to the post as well.

Should get on dat fuckah, yo!
Om - At Giza (Conference of the Birds)
I just wrote a song called Chestburster.
I'm very satisfied with the lyrics, but the riff I've got in mind sounds like something that would happen if you stuck Mick Thomson and Matt Heafy in the same room.
In other words, a little sluggish and core-sounding.
But otherwise, I think it's a pretty sick riff.
What to do?
Listening to:
Thunder of War by Slechtvalk
Melodic Black Metal, incase you didn't know.
recently acquired:

it just seems that every once in a while we have to get that kind of post... either if it's a joke or not, stop it right now !! It's not funny !!!
Also guys, I'm thinking about starting some music project... but I don't know if I should start with covers or try writting my own stuff already. I would be vocalist, but I have a pretty good guitarist friend and we would only be two members for the beginning. Your thoughts guys?
Playing right now: Forsaken by Dream Theater
I might be posting more now after spending many sleepless days/nights/weeks working on this computer. I've finally narrowed it down to the point where I only get one BSOD code once every day or two. Which is down from getting like 10 different kinds of them in a day.

Die Suche Nach Dem Licht - Finsterforst
Concerning the Human Entity and Its Absolute Denial of the Chaotic Spiritual Sphere
Wasted carriers
Uniform, obscene
Destroying the future
Spectres of falsity
Decide what it is worth
To don a crown of cross
Holy Kingdom, Broken promise
Mentally beaten, spiritually gone
Loss of light
Gift of obscurity
Path of enlightenment
Shades of nothing
The ruins of the mightiest empire
Nothing of importance or consequence
The beginnings of uni-pathos
Decrepit minds awaken
Look into the shadows
Gaze into the Abyss
The gift of disillusion
Confusion of moralist thoughts
Destroy, deny, defy
Obstruct that which Was
Create that which Wasn't
Reveal in all that is

A guitarist and vocalist is all you need. Guitarists can play bass and drums and keyboards (and various instruments from those magic tools) can be programmed... just don't use lame stock patches :P.
The whole two man band thing appeals to me. As does solo stuff.
Other people make things more complex and visions are limited by what you can do.
I think of little projects as more artistic too, with bands I just see songs that need to be churned out for the sake of gigging, albums/demos, fun or whatever. And while some duos do that - ie, shitty MySpace comedy bands. Lolz, really funny... - I mean the stuff like Solefald where its a couple of hands doing the work of many. It just emphasises the content more.
I'm going to need to do a serious financial analysis in the next week or so and then ponder over whether I can finally afford that keyboard/audio interface and SM57 I've been meant to be buying for the last few years :P.
If not I'll have to wait until April when I definately will be able to.

"Limbs" - Agalloch
I was faithful on my word and gave Deathspell Omega's 'Kénôse' a ruddy good listen.
I thought it was blooming marvelousl. Possibly the finest example of an epic atmospherical build up... or at least one of the finest I've heard. And the heavy bits be nice and evil too :). I like this kind of BM.
Lazarus Blackstar - Defaced Photo (Revelations)
Saw Rotting Christ last night, and met them as well. I'm the curly haired guy on the right, Sakis is on the left.
Their set was, as I suspected, identical to last year's, minus two songs (Archon and Morallity of a Dark Age) plus three more (Phobos' Synagogue, The Fifth Illusion and Threnody). It ended a couple of hours earlier this time, just after 10 PM. No barricades were up this time. I took a couple of videos from my old camera, but the quality is unbearably shitty. I might edit them later, but for now, I just can't be bothered.

Carriers is definitely his best work. Gangene I found to be less powerful (not to be confused with emotionally powerful, that it is). Nothing he has done compares to A Scream to Express the Hate of a Race. It's still an amazing album nonetheless like all of his works :P
This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.
