Their first album is way better than their follow up I distinctly remember. I don't listen to a lot of that kinda stuff anymore. I used to.

Ink Complete is better, but the second is good too. It has a more Mr. Big/Racer X feel to it.

My two favourite musical styles are Alternative/Ambient things like Imogen Heap, Radiohead and Sigur Rós and then all the Metal I listen too... though all the Metal is mainly Doom at the minute.

I never really got to listen to anything by Necrophagist, but I've heard that they are great. I do not know Psycroptic, Sleep Terror and Cynic..
But Symphony X and Dream Theater are still some of my favorite bands
Angra and Adagio are bands that I won't list in my favorite bands... but they still have some nice stuff, especially Adagio with their awesome remake of the 1980 song "Fame" by Irene Cara

Yes, and it was a disappointment. I was hoping they'd try something new in Ultra Beatdown, but it was just like the other albums. There was only a track or two which I really liked. The rest was subpar IMO. When they work on their next album, they better do something different rather than the same old stuff.
