I'm listening to Gallow's Gallery as I thought I'd give it another listen. I'm liking it a lot more this time. I think the first few tracks are a bit weak. But after The Tranquilizer Song it gets very good. The sounds on the tracks after are more interesting, and rather lovely :).

There actually both pretty awesome lists, checked some of them out. Thanks alot people.

Rom is the first album in over a decade that Marduk has released that has been anywhere close to good other than Warschau. Dark Funeral is just a Marduk clone that, although usually does it better, is still in the incredibly boring and irritating sub genre that of Norsecore that these bands seem to think is listenable. 1349 has released one good album out of their three full lengths, which happens to be their most recent so at least they have some hope of getting better. Carpathian Forest has a few good albums and have recently gone straight downhill. The theatrics and shit in their music doesn't lend itself to someone just getting into the genre. Nattefrost doesn't even take his solo project seriously.
And don't even get me started on Gorgoroth or The True Gorgoroth or whatever Gaahl decided to rename that cluster-fuck. After all the drama that fag has started over "his" band they don't deserve mention for anything after Destroyer. Also, if you're talking about the Unleashed I'm fairly sure you are, they're not Black metal. They're Death. The only good bands that he probably hasn't heard of on that list are Watain and Ragnarok. Almost all the bands you listed are extremely mainstream and are nothing that he either hasn't heard or wouldn't be able to find on his own with five minutes of looking. Just leave it at two bands next time. You don't need gigantic lists. Scarykid only had four and the only things about his list that I didn't like are that Xasthur gets grating to listen to after a while and Meyhna'ch is a drug addicted vampire wanna-be.

Also Converse = win and emo's destroy the look of them, majority of people who DO wear them (such as myself and others) can wear them and not look emo. Like i said before, whatever else you're wearing determines if it looks emo/or homo

I guess it's how they use the word everywhere with "win" or "fail" after it or how some overuse it. I don't usually say epic win or epic fail, but I still wish to use the word epic as a description for many songs.
