I think any musician who has ever been in Death is guaranteed to be fucking brilliant.

You're going to look back on that picture twenty years from now and shake your head.
Here I am, bored with everything.

John Myung
Justin Chancellor
Tony Levin
Sean Malone
Al Cisneros
also, best keyboardists...
Steinar Sverd Johnsen
Kevin Moore

Keith Emerson

You had someone else do that for you? It looks like they just applied a simple ink stamp effect. looks cool, though.

But seriously, the links between Satan and metal music was not even made by metalheads... but by religious freaks... so I don't really see why we should keep on using that sterotype all the time.
I do know that sometimes metalheads just like to provoke others and mess around with their values, especially religious values :P

Michael Pinnella is a cracking keyboardist too. Outside of DT, Symphony X and DragonForce however I don't know much about keyboardists.

We don't use it all the time. The whole Celt/Viking whining thing is far more prevalent in this place.
666 is just a classic Metal thing that has no real meaning but its nice to celebrate (for lack of a better word)... like Christmas.

I think your a wimpy deer. Satan,Hell and metal have been around since Ozzy was kicked out of Sabbath. And Religion gets teased because it gave metal bad press. For instance the trial against Ozzy and Judas for the two twats who killed themself because THEY thought the song told them to do it. When Ozzy's suicide solution is about alchoholics and judas Preist's song was backwards and said do it... Do what? Mow the lawn, have a drink? etc.

ok, and your last post just prooved that there is no link between metal and satan... I mean... links made by us metalheads or metalk musicians (except for some black metal bands).
Retarded people just made random connections between metal and satan...

Yeah, a lot of people say they're boring too. I don't really understand how you can say it's boring.

Most people judging them are most likely the folks who can't follow a song musically unless there's a blastbeat in it.

My friends love them, as do I. I honestly can't see where the hate is coming from.
Especially the poser accusations. They may not be amazingly unique but it's still quality Doom.

Ah, thanks for letting me know. Sadly, I've not heard of much Tool/A Perfect Circle, but I do remember part of Lateralus and really liked the drumming.

Most certainly. My other favourite bassists are John Myung, Joey DeMaio, Cliff Burton and Markus Grosskopf. And for keyboardists, I can only name Kevin Moore and Jordan Rudess.
Bassists:
Steve Harris
Cliff Burton
Steve Scott
Volk-Man
Alex Webster
Keyboardists:
Steve Williams
Tuomas Holopainen
Ferdy Doernberg
Don't really know that many keyboardists.
My personal tutor at Uni has toured and done sound work with Megadeth. I'm hoping he'll adopt me like the son he (possibly) never had when I have my first session with him.

Listen to Schism. awesome and catchy bass in that song.
Better yet, just get some of their albums. They've only done four full lengths so far because they put a lot of time and effort between releases, which explains the awesometastic kickassery.
New Berzerker album 'The Reawakening', ordered mine this morning, can't fucking wait. Your selves?
Went to see Metallica, Down, and The Sword last night, The Sword's and Down's sound was horrible, I could barely distinguish what they were playing, Metallica was great though.
