One of my friends recommended them when we were discussing Brutal Death Metal.
Checked them out, thoroughly disappointed, another run of the mill generic Deathcore band.

"Oh you know, speed metal, death metal" "Oooh...you're emo aren't you?". By then i have usually moved onto another chick. I don't give a fuck if other people don't like my music, just fucking accept the fact that it is music, that im not a fucking emo or goth for that matter, and to learn to respect the skill that musicians put into the music i listen to by not calling it 'shit' or 'noise' or 'horrible'. Of course when i say that im not referring directly to Metallica, more-so Belphegor, Megadeth, Cannibal Corpse, Necrophagist, and any other band i've forgotten that i play on my phone. Mind you i don't just play it for the sake of getting that reaction from people, i play it when im either working, alone, or when everybody else is just whoring out their music saying "Oh this is a good song download it" etc.

You see, its hard finding metal-heads around here, some of my friends are metal heads, and they're the dudes i go to concerts with and hang out with occasionally, but the rest of my mates are as i said before them fucking Rnb/House/dick sucking trance 'omfg im a raver lawl' kids. I do know of some chicks that can accept it, one of my friends brothers knows this crazy aussie death metal band that used to come to my school, shes alright with talking about it. But the majority of people when im out or just making conversation are not like that.

I mean fuck, so what if my band shirts are predominantly black, and i wear them out to acceptable places (no fancy resturaunts or anything like that, more so parties and what not, and even then i have it half covered with a jacket or something), i don't paint my nails or whine about life sucking balls, i don't have emo hair, etc. but still the un-educated fucks continue to call me a 'freak' or an 'emo'. I once wrote a paper on this, we were given 10 minutes to write a paragraph in i can't remember what style of writing, i ended up writing a page, which the teacher was impressed and liked the subject i talked about.

After a couple of tries this works, but usually i get fed up and just give them the 'Keep going bitch, you're never gonna hear from me again' look. Then it stops, and they realize what they've done, and then that sometimes (note, SOMETIMES, depending if the chick is like, one of them easy chicks), leads to sexual activities to fix everything.

True, although you can find good shit if you know where to look. There's a lot of great North American Black Metal bands if you do some digging.
On the topic of retarded scene kids trying to critique my music tastes, depending on how sober I am, it either results in me ignoring them and staring right past them, embarrassing them by ripping in to their musical taste in front of all their friend(s) or beating the shit out of them. I brought in ...And Justice For All for music class, we had to write an essay on the dynamics of any song we could think of, and I chose Dyers Eve, when I showed the album to some people, they were perplexed by how any song could be more than 9 minutes long.
Even more embarassing, they couldn't get their heads around instrumentals.

Apprently, she doesn't tell a lot of people about her taste in music because the few people who do know think that you can't be a Christian (which she is) and listen to Metal.
