And I have to agree with Sensey and M_C. Watching From a Distance is brilliant. I was only going to listen to one track as a taster before hopping into bed, but I'm addicted and have to finish it now.

Ensiferum & Wintersun = amazing sex.

Just pointing it out. I'm not a huge fan of black metal, but holy fuck jesus in a kangaroo pouch, those two are amazing (though more melodic death/folk than black, but still)

Here I am, bored with everything.

Any album recommendations?

I'd go for Megadeth. But seeing them in a supporting role wouldn't be that good, seen them already in such a role and it wasn't very enjoyable.
And they tour as headliners often enough for this to be missable :).

I don't know of any with cleans.

But anyway:
Shape of Despair (My personal favourite.)
Skepticism
Evoken
Ahab
diSEMBOWELMENT
Comatose Vigil
Esoteric
Funeral

That should get you started.

I am truthing.

Untrue.
You can get an ear for anything by listening to it enough, I mean I can make out what Lord Worm from Cryptopsy is saying here because I've listened to growls for aaaaaages.

Also, Sup guys.
Maaaaan this place is boring and inactive without me.

Anyway, I've started school, my band is started (I'm Vox and Lead Guitar) , next year in July we will play at Iceland's Biggest annual metal festival, We also have access to a studio, so we'll record something soon that I can show you guys If you're actually interested, Maybe our awesome cover of this?

We might also possibly do Day 69, despite it being really hard to play, but just the drum solo is the problem.

Our original stuff is more sort of... (trying to shove it into a genre) Melodic Death Metal with a Technical and Aggressive Slam edge, With growled vox, And some Shrieks and Screams in there, but not too many since I hate doing them.

Uh, Yeah nothing much more to say, I got a laptop for school, Which I am posting from now.
I've started smoking like a fucking chimney, And I'll see Týr Live this friday (If i get in, It's 18 year limit, but I already have the tickets, and I look much older than I am, Probably won't be a problem) and When I see Týr, I will have a fucking bottle of Jäger only for myself :D

See you later gais.

This is true. Back in the days when all i ever listened to was Power Metal and Metallica (back when i was about 12-13), i would hear a death metal track and be like "the fuck is he saying?", now without looking at lyrics or anything i can basically tell what they're saying. Helped a lot for English when i needed supplementary texts and all.

Also, Sup guys.

Yo.

Anyway, I've started school,

Hahaha! Sucks to be you, i finished!

Sounds pretty sweet, i like hearing how people successfully come together and form a band, always motivates me to keep playing and somehow find people to start a band with.

I've started smoking like a fucking chimney,

No good for you dude. Is this to help you get your vocals a bit more aggressive?

Nice stuff, Jäger doesn't do it for me on its own, with an energy drink (See: Jägerbomb), i can drink it.

See you later gais.

Laters.

It is, I actually just got an Email since I had been talking about guitar vox and Death metal on this Icelandic Forums site.

Total Coincidence, But the guys are really cool.

No good for you dude. Is this to help you get your vocals a bit more aggressive?

Partially, But I'm hooked like a fucking doomed Fish.
Like.
At First I only had the stamina for growls, and a pretty good Sound, but once I started smoking It's like I can hold a growl lower than fuck, just a Wave of fucking Sonic Energy for like 40 seconds, Screams slightly longer.

I actually busted a mic amp at rehearsal when I was doing the Scream at the start of Gorguts' Disincarnated. (although I held it a bit longer, until like 0:12 where I play that one riff) we had to buy a new one, Which sucked, but 'twas funny anyway.

now, I'm late for Class oh fuck.

Nice stuff, Jäger doesn't do it for me on its own, with an energy drink (See: Jägerbomb), i can drink it.

hahahahahahahah I drank like....12 of those two or three weeks ago, Favourite Mix.
