I'd go for Megadeth. But seeing them in a supporting role wouldn't be that good, seen them already in such a role and it wasn't very enjoyable.

I'm on the same boat here. I may not be a huge fan of black metal, but I certainly love the music by Wintersun and Ensiferum. Infact, they're two of my favourite bands!

Back in the days when all i ever listened to was Power Metal and Metallica (back when i was about 12-13), i would hear a death metal track and be like "the fuck is he saying?", now without looking at lyrics or anything i can basically tell what they're saying. Helped a lot for English when i needed supplementary texts and all.

At First I only had the stamina for growls, and a pretty good Sound, but once I started smoking It's like I can hold a growl lower than fuck, just a Wave of fucking Sonic Energy for like 40 seconds, Screams slightly longer.

I actually busted a mic amp at rehearsal when I was doing the Scream at the start of Gorguts' Disincarnated. (although I held it a bit longer, until like 0:12 where I play that one riff) we had to buy a new one, Which sucked, but 'twas funny anyway.

now, I'm late for Class oh fuck.
