Hey, it's been a while since I posted here...

But here's what's been up with me.

I've created a playlist of 100 Metal Songs (all different bands) that I posted on my Facebook profile to hopefully get my real life friends to listen to the genre.

I'll post it if you ask.

Also I ordered Helloween's Keeper of the Seven Keys Pt. 1 and Wintersun's Debut... only they've never showed up.
Also got Metalocalsype Season 1... awesome.
I want to try and see Dethklok at the House of Blues (Chicago) June 16th since tickets are cheap... but I'm not allowed at concerts alone.

I really want to see the "Metal Gods" Concert in August (Priest, Testament, Motorhead, Heaven & Hell) but I'll see tickets for that one.

Also seeing Rush (they're considered Metal according to the Archives) June 9th... wish I could see Maiden two days after but that's how the cookie crumbles.

Jesus christ you're such a fucking moron at times. So what if it was full of traditional and power metal songs? Those are my stronger points in metal. BatDan asked me for suggestions and I mentioned all the metal bands I'm into.

I can appreciate other genres as well. I may not like them all, but I can sure as hell respect different genres, even if I don't enjoy them very much. I may not be such a huge fan of black or death metal, but I can still accept songs from those genres being labelled as classics or songs that newer metal fans should listen to (e.g. Cannibal Corpse's Hammer Smashed Face). I had no problems with those sort of songs being listed as well.

Trivium are not metal. I don't know anyone that knows anything about metal who considers them to be so. They are crappy metalcore, at the extreme best, and that's been stated over 9000000000 times. No one has a problem with you liking them Ryan, but they aren't metal.
