That's what made me go to his profile... It's just what's in the profile that threw me.
I was listening to my 2 Sorgvind demos earlier today and thought, "I actually quite like these, I might try programming the drums".
I failed.
I'm gunna look for some audio guys to drum for me.

The name rings a bell, but I haven't heard their music yet.
My son turned me on to them and they are quite good.
I'll have to check them out sometime.

I had to see what the fuss was all about and checked his profile.

The Bodkin and the Quietus!
I don't know why.

What the fuck? This guy listened to ICP 1,000 times in the span of one week as well as other things.
?
lol, I just got about 200 plays of Cradle of Filth's "Scorched Earth Erotica" on my last.fm, all at the same time? :S
Bow to my new fist(?) :x
So, does anyone know if The New Song will be on Metallica's new album?

It won't.
We've said it like a thousand times already.

I'm too lazy to understand the letters 'n' and 'o.'

Fucking hacks.
Anyway, I've been lurking lately. A lot of personal strife going on and whatnot, so I haven't had too much time for the ole' internet ramblings. Also, I haven't been listening to too much metal since Arcturus (very awesome, BTW), because NIN's new album came out, and well, its fucking awesome. Not metal in the slightest, but some good fucking catchy music that's actually my favorite album of the year, at least in its early reverie. We'll see.
Anyway, take it easy all and I'll be following along.
Damnit, I'm going mad waiting for the new Virus album. I hope they have Garm as a guest again.

Maybe he left his computer on? Perhaps he cheated (probably). However, I've seen much worse for weekly charts such as this user with over 40k plays in a single week.

I noticed, but meh to your new level.
Deposit more often.

It seems like it's a no here, and I agree with that. However, as long as they've made better songs, I'm fine. Now, I just want to hear something about the track list, the album title or even an exact release date.

New info, including the title, I think, on May 12th. Lars said that they're aiming for a September release, and that they'll be playing new shit during their next few shows.

I realised that it isn't as cuddly as my old one too.

It's the new "Chinese Democracy" ;D

Nothing will ever be as bad as Chinese Democracy in terms of delaying.
Here I am, bored with everything.
Anyone checked out a band called Braindrill? Like Origin but pure gravity blast mayhem

Excuse me, but, Duke Nukem Forever?

yes.
But that game is probably going to suck if it comes out. As much as I loved Duke Nukem 3D, I have no hope of another good Duke Nukem game.

Yeah, I've given them a go, I'm kinda indifferent to it at the moment though.
The difference between them and Origin, is that Brain Drill just seem to throw in technical sweeps and shit with no structure.
This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.

Agreed.
I fucking love Duke Nukem though.
Also: I have just gotten some Arsis, And Amorphis.
Two bands I've been meaning to look into.
Epic win so far.

Well shit I rather liked the one on 64, I could see how most people didn't though. I'm slightly optimistic because of how epic that old Duke Nukem Forever trailer was. It looked great and if that's the direction they go with it I think it could be good but Prey didn't do all that well in my opinion and that looked like it was going to be good too...

Which is what I really care about right now regarding their new album.

But when exactly in September? They said September, but I'd like to know exactly. That's all.

Wintersun are just as bad with their new album. I get the feeling Time won't be released until 2009 now. :( I'm aware of how much time they need to take on that album, but damn, it's been 4 years since they released their debut album.

Yeah, that's the one I'm talking about. Wasn't it called Duke Nukem 3D? I loved it.

The X Box 360 game? I thought it was average. I liked some of the ideas they had for the game, like some of the guns, and walking on those strips that let you walk on ceilings and walls. They were interesting. And being sucked into the spaceship at the beginning was freaking awesome. But the gameplay was merely okay.
Also, it had a jukebox that played Barracuda by Heart and Cat Scratch Fever by Ted Nugent. I thought that was kickass.

The one I'm talking about is called Zero Hour. It was in third person. I can see where the confusion comes from though because I think 3D was on 64 as well so that's my bad.

I can agree with pretty much everything you said, the abduction scene was epic. Getting sucked up into a alien ship while Don't Fear the Reaper is playing ... was just awesome. And then you watch helplessly as your grandfather gets killed, which was pretty powerful if you're willing to put yourself in the characters shoes.
Unfortunately the rest of the game didn't live up to the opening scene, it just had that kind of Quake 4 syndrome to it where it kind of felt like you were a robot. It was too stiff and repetitive and while I did enjoy the vertigo inducing sequences and odd organic alien weapons I couldn't get over how outdated and robotic it felt. It wasn't horrible and I applaud them for their unique ideas but it just felt unfinished for me.
Also, it had a jukebox that played Barracuda by Heart and Cat Scratch Fever by Ted Nugent. I thought that was kickass.
Yeah I thought that was a nice touch too. I sat there for a couple minutes just playing with the jukebox before you get into that laughable wrench fight with the guys that are bugging your girlfriend.
?
I'm interested to know how everyone has the new Opeth if it doesn't come out until June.
