In my CCSD (Computer Composition and Sound Design) course at Uni we were being lectured on rhythms and stuff and the tutor mentioned Meshuggah and even played a nice chunk of New Millenium Cyanide Christ.

I've never got around to checking them out either, apart from a few songs (like 3) from Limewire back in the day when I used to use such things, ugh.
