No, not at all. It has a more ethereal, dreamy feel to it. SYL is more mechanical.

I've not listened to SYL since I first heard Devin's solo work. I just find them so much more bland. He's more interesting solo.

My fried recently showed me "Slither" by Kataklysm, and I found it to be ideal practicing material.
When I practiced it, I recorded it once just for fun, and it turned out pretty good.
So now I just sent the file to some of my friends on MSN, and they're all impressed xP
