Dissection: Either of the first two full-lengths are amazing. Avoid Reinkaos
Emperor - One of the best BM bands ever. All good here.

Blut Aus Nord - either early or their latest release. Middle releases are iffy.
1349 - fast as hell and full of hate - not for beginning but a good band to get into eventually.
Marduk- Early stuff is good, later stuff depends on taste, but I don't mind it
Borknagar* - Consistently good IMO, but you can debate them
Windir* - fucking amazing band also, maybe more folk than black. They are great
Rotting Christ* - another amazing band, they are also fantastic. Both this band and Windir have great album catalogs. I would recommend Arntor for Windir, and Thy Mighty Contract for Rotting Christ to start off.

*folk influenced bands that are almost completely black metal, but have other influences. Still great though.

Reinkaos, IMO, is more melodic death metal than black. Also, its poorly done. Regardless, it is my opinion, but I started with their black metal so the new stuff was very disappointing to me. Thorns of Crimson Death is an amazing fucking song, (off of Storm of the Lights Bane which is another great song) and nothing on Reinkaos comes close IMO. Ask Ghoulio :P.

That's a damn good list to start off with. I also forgot Xasthur and Judas Iscariot. Damn, there are a lot of good black metal bands.

The Iron Maiden show was absolutely fantastic!
The best show I've ever been to!

I would upload the photos so you all can view them but Im too tired and might do it later.

[Yes, some bands are listed twice.]) Also, no black metal exists on my computer anymore. Why? Had to flush stuff out due to computer lacking space; black metal bands seemed to be collecting dust so I let them go.

Well, Kreator is good but to say that they're the best is a bit biased. Persoanlly, I like mostly anything from "Endless Pain" to "Coma of Souls". I don't particulary care for anything from "Renewal" to "Endorama". "Violent Revolution" was good since it was a return to their older thrash style. Here are some of the thrash bands i would reccomend to anybody that's new to thrash.

Sadus
Hirax
Coroner
Sodom
Exodus (For their old thrash style, stick with anything from "Bonded By Blood"-"Tempo Of The Damned". "Force of Habit" has a different Exodus sound but still has thrash elements.)
Nuclear Assault (Stick with the older material such as "Game Over" and "Survive" because "Third World Genocide" wasn't too good but you might like it anyway :)
Death Angel
Dark Angel
Evildead
Destruction
Sepultura (most prefer their older material such as "Morbid Visions, "Schizophrenia", beneath The Remains, etc).
Artillery
Tankard

They also let me suggest songs to play, but those suggestions fell on deaf ears because they are playing some song by The White Stripes.

I proceeded to call them 'Pussies' and that 'I wouldn't want to be a part of it anyway'. And that I would kill them if they didn't win because of all the bitching about the song.

I didn't mean it of course, but that's besides the point.

Thats sucks man. For one of your freinds to say "you suck at drums" is a bit harsh. A freind that makes fun of something you're trying to accomplish is no friend. I used to have a few "friends" that made fun of me because I went to a seperate high school. Well, I graduated six months earlier than they were supposed to graduate. So, I had the last laugh.

Well, Your singing Probably IS off key, Havin' three guitarists to play The White Stripes is retarded, And You probably DO suck at drums, being 12 and all.

I play the drums Every now and then, My friend Dengzi has a kit, He can do fucking 200+ bpm on the double pedal, And The thing is, EVERYONE thinks they can drum, every single person in the universe, is certain, that they can kick ass at drums. (lol exaggerating)

However, You've got to keep rhythm/tempo whatever perfectly, and at high speeds, that can be insane.
The hardest song I can Do that with would be this , nothing insane, I can do about 170 on Double pedal on a good day.
