Take Blut aus Nord with a grain of salt though, a lot of the albums previous to the one they just released suck, with the exception of the first record.
I can't really argue since I don't know what albums the songs I heard are from except for the first album, which was really good. I want to get that one. There was some other album from which I heard one song and I liked it. I think it had trees on the cover. When I try to picture it in my mind, all I see is a green blur. And I don't recall the name of the song. There were a couple songs from this one other album that I found to be really annoying, but I like everything else I've heard from the band so far.

Its great, and IMO so is the newest one (Odinist), as it draws inspiration from the first record and their earlier stuff. Its just MoRT sucks and The Work Which Transforms God isn't so great either.

I do most of my record-shopping in South Jersey, and no stores down there carry them (tards). I'm sure if I looked in NY I could find them, but right now I'm strapped for cash anyway. :p
I will also pimp Porcupine Tree. They are getting more metal every day and they are just fucking amazing IMO. One of my favorite bands at the moment. For this thread, I would recommend going in reverse chronological order though, because they get heavier as they go along. (I really really want Stupid Dream)

I've been trying to get into Nile again due to me seeing them live in about 10 days and fuck, they are so incredibly boring. The guitar leads are quite nice, but everything else is boring as fuck, especially the extremely monotone vocal delivery (even though they go two vocalists?! WTF?) and tepid songwriting.
