was listening to recommendations on last.fm and a band called Beneath the Massacre came up. Has anyone heard of them? They are from Montreal, and I never heard of them for some reason. So im all like REPRESENT. But they are really rad. Technical Death Metal. Sounds kinda like Necrophagist if you enjoy them.

I dont get a sense of any deathcore from them. I tried to listen again to find it, and I cant. Actually, im not even sure what Deathcore is suppose to sound like, but when I listen to them, I just hear the typical metalness of other bands alike them.
Even if its the case, I still overall enjoy their sound. I really enjoy technical sounding music.

It could be me though, because I am just getting really into the tech death scene, and I am used to Necrophagist, Atheist and the like, so maybe I'm spoiled. I will say that they don't suck outright.

I missed them the last time they came around to see my favorite band play (Dark Tranquillity's first headlining tour) but two of my local metalheads went and said they were amazing live. For my particular venue, the Trocadero in Philadelphia ( I <3 the troc, like four days after Radio Rebellion its Decapitated and Amon Amarth. Win), two tix cost me <40, it was like 37 after taxes and bullshit charges. The individual tix were like 15 or 16 bucks. I consider that cheap for bands of that caliber and the fact that its a small venue, so I can get way closer than any of the ozzfest phools. Only bad note: Ticketmaster raped me anally as usual.
