I saw a first year carrying a Slipknot schoolbag on the way home today, though. That's the only sign that I've seen that metal exists, even poser metal, in Northern Ireland.

on the topic of metal, i know a guy (basically a friend of a friend sort of thing) who is one of the worst metal poseurs I've met. I'm all for people liking whatever they want, but it's sort of obnoxious when I mention black metal and he says "Yeah, i like black metal. Like Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir." while wearing a Slipknot shirt.
