Anyways, umm..clean vocals would be..on and off for Wintersun and Ensiferum.. Einherjer is pretty clean. But Im not a huge fan of his vocals tbh. But that depends on the listener.

Thats a shame anyways. I like all types of vocals. Which helps me not limit my music and other appreciations of the awesome instrumental talents of bands.

But whatever floats your boat. Wish I knew moar clean shit to recommend, but Tyr is more one of a kind, and more folk turned metal purely, with viking themed songs. Not a lot of bands that lean towards metal stick to just electronically transforming folk music through rock or metal instrumentals like Tyr.
Im not explaining myself well, but I'm tired.

Well, you see I have a bad problem with declaring my vikingness. I dont do it too much on the net its mainly in class when i get bored. You see I traced my lineage for a class im taking called history and literature of the old testament (it teaches it as a historical point of view from the hebrews eyes so it complies with church and state) anyways we were in genesis where they talk about the family trees. So I traced mine back and low and behold m from iceland.... swear to god lololol. anyways I got out me five star binder. It is one of those that like play music with your I pods anywho I put my mp3 player in and turn up tyr's Torsteins kvædi realllllly loud and just start singing with it and the principal was walking down the hall and hears it. So he was all "WHAT IS THAT YOU BETTER NOT BE CURSING ME OUT" alot of shit like that and well its just went on from there. Ended up I got detention but it was fun.

I got tired of copy and paste so its not word for word the same.

Also, I have my first show at our college radio station this friday, with my partner, Gio. We decided to call the show Rape, Pillage and Gore: The RPG show (cause we're the geekiest metalheads around).

If you're looking for Viking stuff with clean vocals check out the Viking records Bathory put out if you havent already. Hammerheart in particular. Then both Nordland's as well if you like what you hear.

Their vocals aren't clean, or at least not in the songs I heard (the ones on their Myspace) but the band is still quite good, in my opinion. I'd love them if they had clean vocals, but as they are, I just like them.

The only other song I've heard from Scepter of the Ancients is The Color of Sleep, which was annoying cause I read the lyrics and was like 'this is stupid'.
But Skin Coffin is just amazing :D. Matthew Chalk has such a versatile (in a Death Metal kind of way) voice.

I havent heard alot of bathory but what I heard I enjoyed. Ghoul sent me alot of songs (two) from blood fire death. Mainly Dies Irae was my fav.
