Nope, Just try playing itSome notes are supposed to be at the same time, Like Open low E, And 7 on High E.
Btw the parts with many numbers, And no Gaps, Are fast pulloffs.

Didn't you post that in the Guitarists thread a few weeks ago?

Muting the guitar strings with your palm while playing.

One achieves this by what means?
Because I am doing it, right now, as we type, and I get no noise at all. Just the sound of plastic hitting metal.

Yeah, But It's still the saddest song ever written on guitar.
BECAUSE I SAID SO, AND SAYING IT ISN'T IS INSULTING TO BILL'S MEMORY!

In all seriousness, you're not very likely to just pop off like that in your early fourties.
Also, does anyone actually know what happened to him?

You lightly damp the strings with your palm. And more pressure = more 'chugg' until a point when it just becomes nothing.
Also you need a good amount distortion on for it to work... but you should have that anyway.

a friend of his son came in at some point and said his comp or monitor was busted. forgot exactly what was said.

Yeah I remember that...or maybe that was really Bill on a differnt account saying that so he don't have to post here no more...but why would he do that?
When I die. It will be in a blaze of glory.

I don't like Iced Earth.
I think they're just good gruff for Power Metal. Kinda makes me think if there was a Power Metal school, Iced Earth would be the kid who fails in class and beats up the other kids for pocket money and generally being a nuisance amoung the Europeons who just want to play knights and wizards.

I've heard a few songs from it, and I'm not overly keen on that era of BG.
I like Nightfall onwards a lot more.
Or just Nightfall as its the only full album I own by them.
But that and And Then There Was Silence is enough to claim I like few BG more :D.

Fuck that shit, Dark ftw.

verdict: metal.
yeah, i suppose theres certain bands that just have that metal 'vibe' even if they arn't exactly metal. especially with folk and more atmospheric experimental bands.
btw folk fans might be interested in 'comus'. theyre actually an obscure early 70's band & almost totally accoustic but im sure theyve had an influence on atleast a few modern folk metallers
RZZZZZZ
I only like Battallions of Fear/Follow the Blind ;) Speed/Thrash galore!

Except the production was shit and Hansi sounded like a fag back then with his lisp
Face it, BG can't do unmelodic or vicious. They're much better doing melodic shit.

Try Nightfall in Middle-Earth if you're not heard it.
Its much better in my opinion.
Its a more polished and melodic sound.

Wow. You're a fruitcake.
However, I never considered Iced Earth power metal when I listened to them. They just sound like..classic heavy metal to me, really. But it doesn't make them any less awesome.

the snare sound isn't exactly great, but I'm not a production fag ;)

Their first two albums are definitely melodic AND vicious.

Listen to all of 'And Then There Was Silence' (Blind Guardian).
I recommend you listen with some tissues... for the mess that will undoubtly be present in your pants.
Barlow is an awesome singer. And Horror Show is good but it's not the best Iced Earth by far. Dante's Inferno is just awesome. You should check that out, because listening to Horror Show and Dante's Inferno looking for differences is like listening to two different bands.
?

That so needs to have some man o' war playing in the background.

Awesome.

I did enjoyiron Man althouhgh my personal favourite comic book character would have to be Rorschach (from the watchmen comic book), i may look into deadpool i need to expand my comic currently tiny comic book collection.
I like my room cold its nice to shiver, but my room is a heat trap and as such has a horrible musty odour after a long hot day (and as there is a flat roof just outside my window i cant have it open when there's no one in the house as it would be rather easy for someone to climb in)
