They act differently to how they actually are in an effort to be sure people will like them better. Usually with metal chicks(in my experience) this means pretending like they're crazy. Of course then you find out a lot of them actually are on meds of some sort.

Ya know, funny enough, if I did know a girl to claim to like metal, it usually stirred to Death metal. I think Im the only girl I know who actually claimed to love power metal(which was for one year an obsession). expect one girl who liked Blind Guardian obsessively that we all collectively hated and wanted to die.

Power metal in general doesn't seem to be the popular choice around here.
