BTW, I saw the video to the new korn song today, it is by far the WORST song they have ever made. It sounds softer than Britney Spears.

Metallica sucks nowadays too. Nirvana is grunge.

Are you sure that this is the right club for you?

BTW, to the guy who mentionen PAIN:
Peter TÃĪgtgren is a genious: Hypocrisy, Pain, The Abyss, Bloodbath. Excellent man he is.

Holy fuck. I just checked out two PAIN videos. I have never heard any song from Peter's band before, but it was totally unexpected. He uses his clean voice to 90% and he mixes electronic sounds with metal. It's fucking weird, but it's not like anything I've heard before, even if it's not my style.

Do you mean that Word Up song??? That's a cover song. I really dont care for it too much. Now they're getting like Super Mainstream again!!! Dammit why cant those preps/jocks let me have my music to myself!!! I'm not sure if they sold out with this song or if they just wanted to make a totally different sound to see how fans react.

Does anyone know the track listings for the Greatis Hits Collection?

I wish I could, I just started listenting to them recently so I don't know anything about them

I've really been getting into Amon Amarth lately. Death in Fire and Versus the world are fucking awesome songs.

I really gotta get some more of their albums, I hear Fate of Norns is pretty damn good, have to check that out.

Heard some As I Lay Dying the other day too, thats some pretty good metalcore right there.

As for a couple of pages back to that guy who thought metallica were the shit live, they aren't that great. They're pretty good don't get me wrong, but i think I enjoyed Fear Factory or In Flames more, even if they didnt have fireworks.

Oh. Your. God.

Looks like you scared that guy off. He was really funny. "I love all metal bands" and then he chooses two popish bands and a grunge band to represent what he likes! That was so funny.

I prefer to go outside over staying home only when I think that I'll have more fun outside. I really don't think that a Metallica concert is more fun than staying home.

No, I mean REAL electronic sounds, PAIN uses mixes of 70s psychodelic and 80s dance. It's weird, but not bad, just not my style. I rather go back to my beloved Hypocrisy :)

If you love Death In Fire, you must get Masters Of War from The Crusher album. It rules.

Heard 3 songs from Fate of Norns yet, all 3 ruled. Seems to be a great album. But you should aso think of getting "The Crusher"

Yes I have. I have their new cd, Sheol, but it sounds way to repetitive, and I think that the drums give it that effect because you don't really hear great variation comming from them. Apart from that the guitars are pretty good, the vocals are beyond greatness and the lyrics are just pure genious.

Well, I heard the songs: Black God Aftermath(my favourite song by them), Into the Cold Voids of Eternity an Unleash Hell.

they all rock my socks off.

someone I ran into on the BBS kept saying shit about anything wiht "core" in the name being shit, and notmetal, and nu-metal is not a form of metal, and if a band isn't on a certain website, then it definitely is not metal... yeah... and he called me poser... lol

I remember that guy. You kinda twisted his words a lot. He never said that stuff wuth core in it wasn't metal. You assumed that. He was rather dumb but please don't make stuff up about him.

Actually, he did say anything with 'core' at the end of it wasn't metal, even metalcore, and that it all sucks.

Pure 100% is not really metal, but most grindcore bands play a form of Death/Grind which is indeed metal.

BTW, I just launched the website for my band, we decided to call it "Nocturnal Delusion" for now. Please check the site out and leave a comment in the guestbook:

Okay heres my review of slayer and slipknot, at the hammersmith appolo, saturday.

The night began in high spirits, the que outside large and full of anticipation. Until about 6:45 when the doors ahd been open 45 minutes and still only about a third of the fans were in. I in fact missed Mastodon all together. However i soon forgot about this, getting right into the first act, a super heavy set of around five of hatebreeds own songs and one song from each of the main acts work. The whole crowd was standing, screaming themselves hoarse before slayer even played a single track.

Unlike the dwindling talents of metallica, Slayer have only grown in ability, they were hard, fast, fucking heavy-thrash-satanic-black fucking METALLLLL! The whole crowd a mass of thrashing skulls, it was claer who most had come to see.

When slipknot turn rolled along it was like being offered a pizza after having a massice curry, normally i would have been like, yeah thanks i'd love a pizza, but now i wasnt in the mood. That was until duality rolled along, and the mediocre element of slipknot was replaced but fcuking rock. A kid in front of me had been moshing his brains out and i was at first jealous of how much he could enjoy slipknot after slayer had been on, but i soon came into my own and went megha skitzo. after getting the whole crowd to jump slipknot left, but for an encour played wiat and bleed and i went fucking nuts, slamming my face onto the fucking floor with avengeance.

The night totally fucking belonged to slayer but my god slipknot were good, Fucking awesome concert, i cant move my neck, the unholy alliance tour FUCKING 10 OUT OF TEN FCUKING ROCK!
