yeah, i think the secret is real hardcore punk elements rather than post-hardcore or emo elements like a lot of the modern bands. CoC and cro-mags are excellent, poison idea are another good 'un. only modern metalcore band i can think of that i like is keelhaul, theyre more sludge influenced tho.

hmmm not that much a fan of covers, megadeth do some cool ones tho. ah and hayseed dixie's version of war pigs is genius!

And now the story of my day, I woke up late this mourning and missed my bus, so I head back to see if I could get a ride from my parents but they wernt home so I call to see if I could just stay home but nooooo I had to walk... So Im pissed off and walking to school and while Im crossing the road a truck hits me and knocks me out. So i wake up a little bit later in the grass so I get up and start walking and fell a small pain in my leg so I just ignore it becuase I thought it was just a scratch and it starts to really hurt so I look down to see why, and I have a huge gash in my leg and I was like "Holy Fuck!" So I go to a gas station and get some water and wash it off. So I finnaly get to school during my 2nd hour late and my teacher asked where I was and said I got hit by a car and everyone started laughing and my bitch of a teacher said I was lieing so I show my gash and had to go to the nurses office and they just put tape over it so ive got a huge gash in my leg held together with tape all day...
