But An Albatross is cool, they're like..techno-grindcore.

Does that work? :)

I'm not really into Grind either, except....old Carcass :)

Anyone else heard their new album? I downloaded it and listened to the first 21 tracks (not counting the 22nd, 37-minute long track "Natasha"). It's the most metal album they've ever done. Check it out if you've got the means.

Novembre is wonderful, hah. I love the song "The Dream of the Small Boats", or whatever it's titled. <3

I'm not into grindcore really, I just like Anal Cunt for the comedy value :P

And metal archives is down again......most distressing.
I haven't been posting as much as im back at college and work on a-levels is taking up a lot of time.

Pig Destroyer doesn't have an album with that title >:o!
They currently have released:
-Explosions In Ward 6
-38 Counts of Battery
-Prowler In The Yard
-Painter of Dead Girls
-Terrifyer
-Several splits with other bands (Benumb, Carcass, etc.)

Metal Archives has been crashing too often recently. Someone's trying to do away with the godliness of metal.

Always the Man, tryin' to put us down.

Well, i just looked it up, and i got them confused with Pigface. Just the'pig' thing confused me. I really would suck at recalling albums if i had more bands in my CD collection.

It really reminds me of some stuff Flash Gordon used to post in the SSM.

I left a comment there anyway.

Shall do.

Which side of the genre are they on though? The Killswitch Engage / Shadowsfall side or the Caliban / Heaven Shall Burn side?

Don't know many turkish bands, but they seem to have a good underground.

I just got the most awesome movie!!! It's a Pantera home made movie. It was filmed by the band on numerous tours and it rocks! It's just fucking awesome! They show a shit load of backstage footage, some music videos ("Walk", "This Love", some more stuff from Monsters Of Rock 1991), the band getting wasted, smoking weed and lotsa fucking around with dangerous stuff. You should all get it.

Also I got a documantary about norwegian black metal. It features Satyricon, Mayhem, Emperor, Dark Throne and Dimmu Burgir. It doesn't talk that much about the history of black metal but it tells you a lot about the opinions of the band members on different topics and is very interesting. Apparently one of the guys from Dark Throne is really good at speaking metaphoricaly.

I'm not a huge Pantera fan, but this sounds interesting :)

Does it have a title? I'm interested.

I saw an In Flames live show from 2000 in Columbia, it's pretty bad quality, but the sound rules.

The underground are all the bands that are now well known and are not signed on a record label.
