I am so tired. Just drew this by request of a friend. not too crazy about the background probablyy gonna change that sometime between now and March 30th 2032.
Wow. I didn't know you used art programs now. Last time I checked you kinda "hated them". Anyway, this is a great step towards improvement.

Self Portrait:
The Latest Superhero With Powers So profound
So I got dumped into this project by my brother who got a band going but needs a singer so he inducted me as a temporary singer and wanted me to draw the band a mascot, we came to the Name Radzilla after a random License Plate hanging in our garage so I decided to draw a Radzilla so far here's what I got, he's gonna be holding a guitar and and He's gonna have large spines on the top of his head and down his spine(duh). I heed help with how to make the spines look natural as well as finger positioning on the hand holding the guitar's neck. I'll post an attempt a little later. any help is appreciated. later.
So I want to draw something profoundly baddass, I dished out a rough sketch WIP but I can't for the life of me get the hands/ forearms to look right. I worked for about an hour straight getting more and more frustrated, so any help would be appreciated Here's the full sized JPEG in the Dump for peer editing purposes.

And I want to experiment with new styles so if any of you would like to see me attempt a new style throw a recommendation into the metaphorical hat.
I drew this over the course of a school day and am currently in love with this picture.
All of these are great! I can't wait until I get a tablet. It should be coming in a couple of days, I'm sick of drawing with a mouse haha.
Thanks for the comment AJ,
here's my brother, his mohawk really is that big in relation to his head, thats not an exaggeration.
For that pirate thread, may as well put it here.

Well your colouring is improving grandly, thats for sure, its better than what I can do by far.
You really need to study anatomy and vary up your posework and bodyshapes. I know you've probably been told this before, but now is a more crucial time than ever.
If you continue to improve your colouring without balancing your other attributes, you'll eventually become stuck with those other attributes permanently lower in comparison. I've seen this with other artists, and I hope you heed my caution before it is too late.
You have potential, don't cripple it now.

Please tell me specifically what drawing(s) you are referring to so I can work on them.
I know that these kind of suck but I love them for some reason.

which ones are you looking at? I didn't really get into it until around Page 5 or 6
Looking through this thread I see a lot of improvement but I also see things that could use improvement.
For example, I think the thing that you should work on most is your anatomy, especially heads and faces. the main problem i see is that the heads are either too small, to large, or not within the same perspective of the body. Anyways, I am seeing a lot of improvement, looking good.

Thanks I appreciate that you put more than "it sucks" or "Looking good way to improve"
I'm working on the head thing, its hard to get the perfect size and even on a massive project I'm working on right now the head is too large I can already tell. but I'm gonna start on some serious anatomy training next week to get everything put into place. So come back then.
