Yah Marilyn Manson is okay to a point. I like a few of the songs they do...but I have a real hard time getting into his stuff he seems a little to angry about everything.

yeah, we could talk about Marilyn Manson forever... theres some bad sides to him, but also some good sides.

so yeah Nine Inch Nails is my favorite band, but im also big on grunge such as Nirvana and Soundgarden, so is it cool if i join ?

Well, ive got The Golden Age Of Grotesque, and while i like a few of the songs on there, the title song just pisses me off so damn much. I used to hate the guy for the fact he seemed such an attention whore, but after seeing Bowling for Columbine, well, my respect grew alot.

So, for the people who like NIN, which is your favorite album, and do you listen to much else industrial?

i personally like The Downward Spiral (don't we all?) and The Fragile a fair bit, that and yeah, look at my favorite bands to see some of the other industrial stuff i listen to, i sorta forgot to mention Deadstar Assembly, Dope Stars Inc. and Pigface...

Well, the only bad thing, in my opinion is that he promotes death to god, and kill your parents. I myself think that is kind of stupid but HE IS oringanal though. What do you guys think of JImi Hendrix? I think he is amazing.

about manson...he is a bit freaky, but have you guys seen bowling for columbine? he had some things to say about the columbine shooting (or the shooters rather) that were very intelligent...he seems like a very smart guy, he just expresses himself a little strangely...

Y a turbosquad is right about Manson, he is definately "different" but brings up some really good poins about todays society, culture, and American conscience, i also think he's pretty talented but then again im a die-hard NIN fan and if it wasent for trent reznor then manson wouldent be where he is today, they are both really talented artists in my book

Marilyn Manson - he's not very "different" from anybody else. Have you ever seen an interview with him? He's a nice guy. He just does that crap in music videos cause kids will be like "Oh he's so hardcore" and crap and that makes him famous and rich.
Nine inch Nails - they, err, he (trent reznor) is pretty good. I know "closer" Head like a hole" and "perfect drug"

Marylin Manson (sp) very intelligent. Musically he does have some good songs. I've heard that when he was young his mom made him listen to Elvis and he hated it so he swore he would undo everything that Elvis said. Personally i don't like the image he portrays, the whole shock "i'm evil blarg" routine.

Hey! :) Yeah it has been going great! Anyway, heres my opinions on those bands.

Rush- Really good, I have only heard one song (2112 Overture, Teh Temple of the Syrinx) and it is good. Great Canadian Rock band!

Jet- Again I only heard "Are you going to be my Girl" and its pretty good... sounds like the riff of that Iggy Pop song though, hah yeah.

Yeah Nirvana Nerd haven't formed an opinion on them yet but they do have a classic rock feel.

Gibson Les Pauls do kick ass yeah. Marshell amps are the best, and Peavys are pretty good. Yeah Nirvana maybe would have had more hits, but I think they would eventually break up sadly :( Dave was already writing his own songs, and the band werent to stable.

I kinda suspect Kurt was murdered but anyway... I think that album Krist Novoselic, Jello Biafra, Kim Thayil, and Gina Mainwal was pretty great. If you don't know what I'm talking about go look for it, it's called The No WTO Combo and it's a live recording from Seattle when all those riots were happening.
