The bands i liten to ar

Manson, Nine inch nails, Black sabath, Metallic, Sex Pistols, Afi, The CLash, Korn, Nirvana, Led zeplin, misfits, cannibal corpse, kiss, sex pistols, rancid, pink floyd, The Doors, ac/dc, rob zombie, Iron maniden, rammstein, slipknot, Alice in chains, nirvanna, system of a down, ozzy, chilli peppers, Frank Zappa, The who, Yes

Well it seems like you have a good list there. The bands there are Metal, Rock, Grunge, Punk.. I like all those bands there except SOAD, Slipknot, Rob Zombie (White Zombie is cool), and Mairyln Manson. Although those are Rock bands. So thats pretty cool. Hey I just got a new Guitar Legends magazine with the top 25 Greatest Acoustic moments in Rock History. Its pretty cool. Some songs there were:

Neil Young- Heart of Gold
Nirvana- The Man who sold the World
Beatles- Blackbird
Led Zeppelin- Stairway to Heaven
Beck- Loser

and some others.. pretty cool.

The best guitarist ever is Jimmy Page, both in performing the music and writing it. For bassists I'd say Justin Chancellor (spelling?) from Tool. Tool's basslines are awesome.
How could they have not chosen Led Zeppelin's "Ramble On" as one of the best acoustic songs ever? Damn those writers...

Response to Rock Music Club.. 2004-03-14 22:34:01

Hey, Yeah sure I will write the whole list tommorow when I wake up :) Yeah Jimmy Page is AMAZING. I just finished watching a AC/DC concert on MuchMoreMusic and Angus Young is one hell of a guitar play. He's my second favorite :) I will do the list of Top 25 Acoustic songs tommorow, cya

apparently there isnt going to be one. And with the way the Nothing label is going, well, im not really seeing Reznor getting back in it for the most common cause for re-entry... lack of money.

ie the title(grey album)

Yeah, rap is garbage. Especially what's out now. Jay z is really unclear on the concept. His "Black Album" is named that and has a picture of him on it. The case with the Beatles' and Metallica' albums was that they just didn't mark their album, and people just adopted that name. They should mix the white album with metallica's black album, that would be truly awesome.

Here's the songs on that list that I really like. Still, no Ramble On?

8.The Who- Pinball Wizard

Don't like Daltrey's work on that, but the intrumental parts are great.

10.The Rolling Stones- Wild Horses

Really cool, laid back song.

11.Led Zeppelin- Stairway to Heaven

Awesome. Especially the electric half.

13.Neil Young- Heart of Gold

Just a normal, nice Neil Young song.

14.Steve Miller- The Joker

I love this song. Steve Miller's great.

24.Beck- Loser

Pretty cool riff. Funny too.

25.Nirvana- The Man Who Sold the World (MTV Unplugged)

That performance was awesome. The cover's better than the David Bowie original, I think.

Oh and NirvanaNerd, I saw that same AC/DC concert on muchmoremusic, it kicked ass.

Yeah, Losing my Religion is a amazing song, R.E.M are one of my favorite bands. But it does have guitar in it? Just a simple riff though. And man that AC/DC concert was awesome, although it didnt show all the songs :( But it was really good. Hey nice picture there for the Rob Zombie video.

Response to Rock Music Club.. 2004-03-15 23:34:52

That was a pretty good list NN. I'm still dissapointed though that "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas wasn't on there. in my opinion its alot better than Beck's Loser but eh! what can you do? I'm also surprised there was no Simon and Garfunkelness on the list either!

Response to Rock Music Club.. 2004-03-15 23:36:42

or i could be an idiot and need to double check. Because if i did i would see Simon and Garfunkel on the list.

I don't know for sure if it does of doesn't have guitar in it, but I do know that it's mostly, if not all, played on a mandolin.

Response to Rock Music Club.. 2004-03-16 08:44:42

haha yeah Simon and Garfunkel was there ;). Yeah your right bfms it is mostly played on a madolin... but in the guitar magazine it says he plays that riff on guitar. But I dont know..

I don't like the White Stripes. I think its more of me not liking the drummer than anything else. But the whole not liking there music either doesn't help. Too minimalistic to me.

cool, sorry I never listenend to those bands before. Hey Mr.Fluffkins (Wrong spelling sorry) yeah that would be awesome if Black Sabbath did another album, they were awesome in thier early days. Man, I really dislike "Gorillaz". I used to like them about 3 or 4 years ago, but they are just like computerized with peoples voices.. I cant stand them, its ruining music.
