Thought I'd post this in case we had any PSU fans in here. Kinda sad what happened to Paterno overall and now to see this.
And for those of you who don't know, Joe Paterno is officially dead.

What a way to lose. A dropped TD pass and a missed FG. At least having the Pats in the SB will bring more interest than if the Ravens were in it.

Yup, aside from the beginning and end of the game the Ravens played pretty solid. This has to go down as one of the biggest fuckups in NFL history though. This is certainly the most disappointed I've ever been from an NFL game. Even more disappointing than the Ravens blowing their playoff game against the Steelers last year when they even started with a 21-0 lead over the Steelers.

It would have been a way more interesting super bowl story if the Ravens had won though. It would either be the Ravens facing the Giants again for their second super bowl or Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh. Now it's "Oh the Pats are in the super bowl...again." I know I'll be rooting for either the Giants or 49ers next week, I don't want to see the Pats win another super bowl for at least a decade or so.

Revenge time for Tom Brady and the Pats against the G-men in the Super Bowl.
Final score: Pats 28-17 Giants.

For those of you who are interested. Hulu.com has it so that you can watch almost every episode of "America's Game". If you don't know what that is, it's basically a series that has 45 minute episodes dedicated to chronicling the seasons of Super Bowl Winning Teams. It's really fun to learn how some of these teams came together to win their respective Super Bowls and for me, personally, it's gotten me excited for the upcoming games.
You could easily get started by watching how the Giants won the Super Bowl in 1987, 1991, and 2008 or how the Patriots won it in 2002, 2004, and 2005.

I guess i'll pick the Pats to win the Superbowl
But I sure as hell won't like it
Also, I've got the AFC winning the Pro Bowl and the Giants winning the Super Bowl.

I have no interest in the super bowl now, with two sides that I simply don't like scrapping it out. I can't believe that both the Ravens and the 49ers fucked it up, one with the field goal miss and the other with two fumbled punt returns. Stupid errors in both cases, and the 49ers had looked so rock solid otherwise.
I'll predict a Giants win as the lesser of two evils, with a score of 34-31 in OT.
Also I'll plump for the AFC against all logic in the Pro bowl, even though the only top class AFC quarter back will be in the super bowl now.

I'm going with the NFC, although I won't really watch this game beyond the 1st quarter at most.

I predicted that New England would be in the Super Bowl and win it, so for that reason, I'm going with the Patriots in a high scoring battle.
Total score - Pats 38, Giants 31.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.
So i bet $100 on the Patriots to win Super Bowl 46 against a good buddy of mine.
It worked when i bet $100 on the Giants 4 years ago to beat the Patriots so i'm going Vice Versa this time.
Oh Fuck it :D

He will, but I would imagine that he's going to be more of a decoy more than anything else. Brady is going to turn to his WRs to pick up the slack, and who knows, we might see an Ochocinco sighting, although I have my doubts.
Personally, I wish they played the game already, because I'm tired of hearing the same thing about the obligatory Super Bowl hype and other stuff that I already know about from the sports networks. I swear, the only other thing that they keep talking about is Peyton Manning and his neck, and how Irsay wants him out, and that's getting rather annoying too.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.
Come on, Patriots! Win the Super Bowl so that I can win the prediction competition. >:)

I can't believe the football season is almost over. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. I guess I can start watching the NBA and that should tide me over until the season starts anew.

The Bucks seem to be doing bad enough to satiate my need to watch teams I like lose while the Bills are off

Good call.
It was a good Super Bowl and got pretty exciting in the last few minutes. For a second I actually thought Gronkowski was gonna catch that pass at the end which would have been insane. Happy the Giants won though.

Well another season has come to an end with the Lombardi Trophy heading to New York. Also, even though DoD picked wrong he has a closer total score difference of 7 compared to Ship's 10. Here is a pic and don't let it go to your head.
Also, I'll ask again, is Eli an elite quarterback?
