I was completely wrong there, they actually played much worse in the second half. The Ravens did get screwed when the refs failed to call the blatant pass interference when Boldin was getting his arm held in the endzone, should have been a touchdown. Even that wouldn't have been enough though, since the Ravens were just playing like shit in this game. I don't know how we went from playing like we did last week, to this. What a disappointing game.

Yeah, if I was a Raiders fan, I would have been fucking livid about that second half. Reminds me of the Ravens vs. Steelers playoff game last season. Ravens went into the half up by 21 and then just completely blew it in the second half.

I'm watching the Pats vs. Chargers game right now. Chargers just scored a td, so now they're only down by 7, with a little over 5 minutes left in the 4th. Also, lol @ Wilfork getting an interception and a decent amount of return yards. I never would have expected that.

I just realized that I didn't predict a winner for the Dallas v. San Francisco game. I'm such an idiot. >:(

Also, the Bengals game was heartbreaker. Even though I predicted for Cincinnati to lose, it doesn't make a two point loss any easier to swallow.

Guys, just so you know, Bob is a Philadelphia Eagles fan. If they lose tonight, you should all send him a PM to see if he's alive. I don't know how many losses one man can take.

What makes it worse is that the 2 times before we played Denver, we were the better team on both sides of the ball, and yet we lost to them by less than a touchdown. I really can't explain why they keep falling apart against them, especially when Tim Tebow has to be an emergency WR on a couple of plays no less.

Watching the Eagles-Falcons game, and I'm honestly a little shocked on how chippy and how sloppy this game has been, most notably with the penaties called on Atlanta that you didn't see from them last year. And Mike Vick is out of the game, taking a huge hit and spitting up blood, that's not good.

Okay, everyone, you better start asking Bob if he's okay. I get a feeling he might have hurt himself after witnessing that last second defeat that Philly just picked up.

The Giants are blowing out the Rams, which is something I would not have expected. Suddenly, I don't really feel too well about picking the Rams beforehand to win, or most of my picks this week for that matter.

All that aside, I do believe that Eli Manning can be an elite QB in the NFL, as long as he doesn't turn the ball over so much. {which really isn't all his fault, though} With that said, I believe that Eli can be the best QB in the NFC East, if he isn't already, because he has won in the biggest of games, and he has remained healthy and upright throughout his career.

If the Giants takes the lead and held it in the 4th quarter, the defense have to hold it no matter what. If they disappeared last year like what LeBron did last summer I'll never forgive them until they beat those fucks.

Pfft if the Rams had had Steven Jackson the game would have been much much different. Stupid Cadillac Williams fucked us over and pretty much lost the game for us with his failure to produce anything and his idiotic "I'm just gonna watch as the Giants pick up this ball and go score" thinking. I understand bad games... But that was a baaaaadddd game for him.

At least hear me out on this, All of the QB's in that division has flaws, but I do believe that Eli's mistakes are correctable. Let's compare them all:

Rex Grossman- Well, he's Rex Grossman, what did you expect? Yes, he did lead the Bears to a Super Bowl and all, but that's largely due to the defense and running game that the Bears had in '06.

Michael Vick- An electric playmaker, no doubt about that. But he does get banged up way too much, considering only 1 time did he play all 16 games in a season healthy. There's a dramatic difference between him and Mike Kafka, I can assure you.

Tony Romo- Simply put, he's a regular season QB. But come the winter months, he really starts to slide way downhill. Let's face it, if they couldn't get to the Super Bowl in '07 when they had home-field advantage, and in '09 when they got his first playoff win, then they he isn't going to get it at all.

Eli Manning- He's not Peyton Manning, I get that. But he still is a damn good QB, and has the stats and the record to prove it, his problem is that he turns the ball over way too much, especially over the last 2 seasons, even if it isn't always his fault. If he can cut back on the turnovers like he did in '07 and '08, then he can be boderline MVP candidate, not to mention he is the only one with a Super Bowl ring, for what's its worth.

Okay I am back now from my mandatory vacation and would just like to remind you all that the Bills are the best and that you were all wrong about them but that's okay because you can still make the right decision now by recognizing Buffalo and Ryan Fitzdragon as real NFL contenders.

I am quite excited but this is the week to see if it's all for real or if we're just going to take the back seat in the division once again.

Houston at New Orleans - New Orleans (Houston fails to dominate even against a team like Miami, not likely to win here)
NY Giants at Philadelphia - Philadelphia (Giants are just not good)
Jacksonville at Carolina - Carolina (Panthers capitalize on some much needed confidence, possibly even well earned, and take it at home)
New England at Buffalo - Buffalo (Oh god I hope this finally happens, the games have been getting closer at home this might be the year it comes together)
Miami at Cleveland - Cleveland (Miami is a joke, Henne is a joke, this entire squad is fradulent)
San Francisco at Cincinnati - Cincinnati (Bungles have a much better setup than San Fran, Smith isn't reliable enough to count on)
Denver at Tennessee - Tennessee (They ride the Baltimore victory to another home win against a lackluster Denver team)
Detroit at Minnesota - Detroit (I don't think the Vikes have the tools to deal with Stafford and Peterson probably won't run wild against this line)
Baltimore at St. Louis - Baltimore (Rams manage to be worse than the Giants, they lose)
NY Jets at Oakland - Oakland (Going out on a limb here, I think Campbell played well last week and this Oakland team has the chops, they might just surprise the Jets)
Kansas City at San Diego - San Diego (If both teams could find a way to lose they probably would, but the Chiefs are in shambles)
Arizona at Seattle - Arizona (Cardinals outplay a very poor Seahawks team)
Atlanta at Tampa Bay - Tampa Bay (This team is resilient and strong enough to win this matchup, if they are going to win it they will do it at home)
Green Bay at Chicago - Green Bay (Cutler will have an easier time with Collins out but he's still struggling with sacks so Green Bay will simply overwhelm)
Pittsburgh at Indianapolis - Pittsburgh (Anyone losing to Indy at this juncture needs to seriously reevaluate their priorities)
Monday:
Washington at Dallas - Washington (Rax Grissman dragons against a hugely overrated Cowboys team)

Hey I picked Buffalo in week one.

Also, Fitzpatrick isn't the answer for you guys.

Seven Touchdowns over two games would say otherwise

I agree he's not the guy for like, the next decade, but he is definitely a keeper and can take us to the playoffs.

If this season works out he deserves at least a 4-5 year contract.

YO! STOP RAINING ON MY PARADE!!!

I see what you mean though, next week should dispel any illusions for either argument tho, hopefully for the better because fuck New England.

Also, I do think Colt Mccoy is a good quarterback, in fact, I think he does exceptionally well for what the offense needs and expects from him. He makes due with a decent receiving corps and he hasn't had too many turnover issues so far. It's a running offense though so comparing him to Buffalo is a little lopsided because even though Buffalo runs really well they do a lot more passing in the red zone than the Browns.

Even if Buffalo somehow wins this game, {which they won't} they'll eventually fall apart somewhere down the line. At best, they're the next Houston Texans, where they'll have high expectations and always come up short, mostly because they play in the AFC East with the Jets and the Pats. And considering how Brady has played the last 2 weeks, the Bills defense will be overwhelmed quickly, even without Hernandez.

Also, I do think Colt Mccoy is a good quarterback, in fact, I think he does exceptionally well for what the offense needs and expects from him.

I disagree, he's really only an average QB at best. It doesn't mean he can't be the next Chad Pennington, but apart from some fluke wins last year, he's hasn't been that great at all, the 2 games against Cincinnati and Pittsburgh proves that point.

He makes due with a decent receiving corps

I have to stop you right there, because the Browns WR corps is absolutely pathetic. Most of the time, they simply throw to either Watson, Hillis or occasionally Hillis and Cribbs. Considering that both Hillis and Watson led the team in receptions last year, this proves that the receiving corps is pretty bad. Now if they only had Braylon Edwards, that might be a different story. When you have to rely on your RB and TEs for the majority of the team's catches, that's a problem.

Hard to decide if the Browns or the Raiders have a worse corps.

Robiskie and Massaquoi turned out to be crap thus far, but on the flipside, outside of a few great games from each of DHB, Louis Murphy, Jacoby Ford and Denarius Moore, they've all been underwhelming, and Chaz Schillens has been perpetually injured for the past 2-3 years.

Yeah but New England has been letting QB's throw all over them, they even let Chad Henne get 400 yards and Henne is barely even a decent quarterback. I'd say the best chance we have of winning is if we keep their underwhelming rush game from getting started and we try to keep pace with their scoring and hope we get a stop somewhere along the way. I don't feel the Bills are prone to a collapse, if anything they are poised to burgeon with all these pessimists refusing to give them due credit and looking down on them. Yes, they are still 3rd in that division right now as far as anyone can tell, I'm honestly more worried about the Jets than I am about New England since beating Miami and the Chargers isn't exactly anything to write home about. I'm still optimistic about our chances though, we have a system that is working for us and as long as the defense improves we should be well on our way forward.

I disagree, he's really only an average QB at best. It doesn't mean he can't be the next Chad Pennington, but apart from some fluke wins last year, he's hasn't been that great at all, the 2 games against Cincinnati and Pittsburgh proves that point.

I don't think he's that good either I just think he does well considering he is a Browns quarterback.

I feel like Massoquoi is making strides forward into becoming a reliable mid-range threat and so far he has played well in both games. Right now I think the Browns are more or less operating as a corps rather than a select few starts and their supporting cast. Just about every Browns receiver is as viable as the next which isn't exactly stellar but it works for their offense and serves to keep Hillis in play on all downs while still keeping defenses unsure as to where the ball is going to go.

In that respect the Browns perform well and are even improving as their pass game becomes more efficient.

Hahaha... Browns fans don't want Braylon... He dropped the easiest fucking passes to catch for Cleveland... the easiest.

That may be, but at the same time, he had horrible QB's who often either underthrew or overthrew him constantly, making passes that not even Jerry Rice could catch in bounds. When he finally had a decent QB in Sanchez, he stopped dropping the ball so much. Not to mention the fact that he didn't want to even play there in the first place, and I couldn't blame him in that regard.

To be honest, I wanted AJ Green or Patrick Peterson in the draft. I am really hoping we can get the receiver out of South Carolina if he declares this year or the next. Alshon Jeffery is his name I believe.

Well, had they lost a few more games last year, they would've easily gotten either one of them, considering that they weren't going to sink past the top 5. {in hindsight.} Or better yet, had the Browns actually used the 6th pick, they could've gotten Julio Jones, who is far better than Massaquoi and Robiskie put together talent-wise.

I can tell that they are trying to build their team through the draft, which is good and all, but with the Browns history of swinging and missing in the draft, they need to get some serious free agent superstars soon, or it's back to square 1 all over again.

Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

Got to love the NFL. Preach about player safety this and that, but never miss an opportunity to exploit its player to shovel its product.
